Cabin was great. Very clean and as described. Great location to get into town or travel out of town. Lots of animals close by and a quiet neighborhood when wanting to relax. Would 100% visit and stay at this cabin again.

Beautiful getaway

This cabin was beautiful in a quiet area and convenient location. We stayed two night for a basketball tournament. It's was perfect for my son and I. We were able to grill and relax I'm the hot tub. If we are ever in Ruidoso again we will try to book this cabin.

The cabin was very nice and decorated very cute! The bed was super comfortable. Bathrooms were also nice. I was a little disappointed of the cleanliness of the hot tub. I understand they can be difficult to maintain but we weren’t able to use it due to it be dirty. Other than that we loved our stay!

Photos pretty accurate but it was a lot smaller than it looked in the photos. Bedrooms in basement, sharing a bathroom. 2nd bathroom up stair is off kitchen. Pet friendly but no where to let them out apart from driveway. There was a fenced in area but overgrown & huge rocks, our pups wouldn’t go into. Towels had been washed but were so stained, awful. Bed covers, didn’t feel they had been washed because they were very fluffy.

Weekend get away

Great location, great view, hot tub was nice, quiet property. A couple of things to note: property is steep and not really for pets, not much level ground. Property manager needs to tend to routine maintenance inside and out. Maid needs to be fired. Place has cobwebs and dusty in master. Drive way is a little dicey at night (narrow with big drop off)

We had the best time staying in the cabin. Just enough room for four people and we were so close to everything. The beds were so comfortable and everything was very clean.

Cozy & Beautiful

Absolutely loved the home! We had everything that was needed. Peacefulness was perfect. The parking was difficult for 2 trucks but manageable. The yard was not the best for kid or pet friendly but we still made it work. (Extremely sloped) Overall we made amazing family memories! Thanks for sharing your beautiful home! ~The Garners~

We really enjoyed our stay. The kitchen was well equipped. A couple of notes. The bedrooms are down a steep, right angle staircase with poor lighting (light fixture not functioning). The fenced pet area is out the balcony and down stairs and was too rocky and steep for my older dog. The hot tub lid is impossible for one person to remove and in much need of repair.

Old Lincoln Rd cabin

lovely, clean cabin with surprisingly higher end appliances and linens. We only have a few remarks—- not complaints— downstairs bathroom sink drained really slowly and the faucets in the tub kept coming off. Also, there was no reading lamp in the living room for us minor TV watchers. All in all we had a wonderful time and plan to stay there in the future!!

Beautiful cabin

This is a great cabin, very clean and cozy. Would definitely stay there again. Our only complaint was that we didn’t know where to put out our garbage. After a couple of days we realized there were neighborhood dumpsters. They should include that in there welcome booklet/instructions. That was something we never experienced before.

The window handle in the bathroom fell off . We had to search for a trash bag and trash can for disposal. All the doors are hard to open. We saw an elk and overall enjoyed our stay.

Lincoln Cabin - Ruidoso

Over the past 5 years, we spend about 10 weeks or so annually in places around the country, using AirBnb and VRBO primarily, so we have gained some experience with rental properties. This is our first critical review. We spent 16 days at Lincoln Cabin in Ruidoso and find that the description provided by the owner is misleading and that the property is greatly overpriced. While it's true that there are 2 bathrooms, be advised that due to water pressure limitations, only one shower is usable at a time. Also note that while the 2 bedrooms are downstairs, one of the bathrooms is upstairs, just off the kitchen. The couch is an aging sleeper sofa that is far from 'comfy'. Sitting on it requires readjusting the cushions every 15 minutes to keep from sliding onto the floor. While the hottub was clean, it is situated right next to the road with zero privacy from the other houses. The bathtubs appeared not to have been scrubbed in quite some time. Using the microwave requires use of a chair to reach it. Advertised as pet friendly, it is far from friendly. There is a small fenced back yard which would be perfect for mountain goats, due to the steep pitch of the hillside and the fact that its strewn with large boulders and overgrowth. Completely useless. We would not consider renting it again, even at half the price we paid.
