NEW LISTING! This stylish, immaculate 4-bedroom, 1,600+ sq ft house is the perfect place to stay. Located on one of the oldest streets in America, the area is rich with history and the house is steps to the Mayflower II, Plymouth Rock, the waterfront and all the action of the downtown Plymouth. Take advantage of the many bars, restaurants, shops and concert venues Plymouth offers. Enjoy fantastic beaches, great fishing, boating and whale watching. Parking for 3 cars.

The entire house is yours. All new mattresses, furniture and bedding. Furnishings were chosen with the best inns of the world and your every comfort in mind. Super clean, stylish decor, recently renovated and extremely comfortable. Enjoy 4 bedrooms (3 with smart TVs), a brand-new kitchen with all the amenities of home, a comfortable living room with a fireplace and 42” Smart TV, free WIFI, and a full dining room with plenty of dishes, glasses etc. The home has a brand-new bathroom with shower and bathtub, a second newly designed bathroom with shower in the lower level (complete late March 2023), separate laundry area, great fenced-in, outdoor courtyard in the back, and a spacious front porch complete with rocking chairs for your use. There are gleaming hardwood floors throughout and lots of New England character. Choose whether you want to cook from home or walk to one of the many nearby restaurants. Very safe location and well-lit.

The home sleeps 7 comfortably with room for others in the basement living room ($50 additional fee per night for each guest over 6). Bedroom 1: King, Bedroom 2: Queen, Bedroom 3: Twin, Bedroom 4: Twin with twin trundle, Basement: Queen bed. While the home sleeps more than 7, we keep to this limit so not to overwhelm our cleaning crew.

The large, well-maintained garage can be rented for a small additional fee per night. The garage offers extra outdoor space and is complete with white lights and paper lanterns, a table with 6 chairs, a grill, cooler, ping pong table, dart board and bikes. Please inquire upon booking.

Private parking for three cars is available in the driveway as well as street parking. Minimum night stay may be negotiable depending on bookings. Security deposit applicable on weekly (or more) rentals.

We love to meet and greet our guests whenever possible, but if not, there is coded access from the back door. We are available for any reason and a caretaker lives closeby. All house rules, suggested hot spots and area tips will be listed for our guests.

Great spot!

The property was spotless when we checked in and was even more spacious than we imagined! The location is truly at the heart of everything with lots to do on the wharf as well as on Court St. We LOVED the performance center next door listening to live music most nights we were there, so fun! We traveled with two kids (5 & 2) and they did well at the house. The front porch was delightful to sit on and enjoy the ocean breeze. A quick walk to everything.if we return to Plymouth will definitely be staying here again - 10/10

Overall great stay at this home. Location was great. Walking distance to everything. Home was clean and as described. Minor bump getting into the property (given wrong code to get in) but it was fixed within 10-15 minutes. Would highly recommend this home and will be back!

Team Meeting in America’s Hometown

The house was conveniently located close to the waterfront and all of the shops, restaurants, and bars. It was well equipped with everything we needed during our stay. The beds and linens were very comfortable and the house very clean. The driveway situation was tight due to a major construction project going on smack next door. The workers passed through quite often. They were friendly but it was a little stressful having so much activity going on so closely to our cars. We live locally so were aware the building next door was being renovated but there was no mention of the construction in the listing (that I am aware of). Overall, we had a wonderful stay!

Perfect spot for "Girl's Weekend"

This house was perfect for us. Off-street parking for 2-3 cars, walking distance to the waterfront (Plymouth Rock/Mayflower) and lots of restaurants and shops. A separate bedroom for each of us. Very welcoming home. The main purpose for the trip was to see America's Hometown Thanksgiving Parade and it was just a hundred foot walk away from the house.

Brilliant stay

This is the best accommodation we have ever stayed in. Beds so comfortable, kitchen fully equipped, living room great! In the middle of Plymouth, greats restaurant’s and great bars. Easy to get to Boston on the train from Kingston and a short drive to the ferry for Martha’s Vineyard. Also a ferry to Provincetown which is a great place to visit. Lovely and charming home!

We stayed at this home for my daughter's wedding and it was the perfect place for her bridal party to get ready. Home was nicely decorated with everything you would need to enjoy your stay. Owners were readily available for a quick question. Place was uncluttered and clean. Loved the details in an older home but with a updated twist in decor. I would highly recommend. Great location as well!

Comfort in a great location

Clean, spacious, and walking distance to lots of shops, restaurants, and historic sites. The beds (all on the second floor) were very comfortable. First floor is beautiful and functional. Having only one bathroom was mildly inconvenient. The basement den area was a favorite spot for our kids, especially on the one rainy day we had. Owners were really helpful and made sure we had everything we needed.

The perfect spot!

What a great time! the house was everything we expected plus more! The only disappointing thing was we had to leave early to get our dogs and prepare our home for the hurricane in the Gulf of Mexico. This home's location could not have been better, everything was walking distance. The house was clean, comfortable and relaxing. It was a little history with modern conveniences. We are looking forward to our return and will definitely use this house again! Angela and Carrie were wonderful hosts, check in and check out was painless and convenient. Again, we will be back!

Amazing Property in a great location!!

Wow!!! This house is a real find! Even the beautiful pictures don’t do it justice! The owners have thought of everything to make it so comfortable. Beautifully and thoughtfully decorated, with everything we needed! It looks to be newly renovated, but still retained the original charm. The location can’t be beat—walk to shops, bars, the water and Plymouth Rock. I would highly recommend The Captain’s House if you’re planning a visit to Plymouth!

Beautifully renovatd home in the heart of Plymouth

This place is a true gem. Newly renovated, impeccably designed and absolutely immaculate. There was plenty of room of our family of six to spread out and relax. The updated kitchen came stocked with all of the essentials and many thoughtful touches. We loved that both the harbor/beach and the downtown shops were just literally steps away in either direction. Highly recommend this rental!

We had the best time in Plymouth! First off, the house is gorgeous - newly renovated, sparkly clean and beautifully designed and furnished. Even the beds and linens were first rate. Then the location was perfect - walking distance to the waterfront, restaurants, clubs and shops. We were in town for a girls weekend and never had to get in the car. Can't wait to go back!

Stunning Home with the Best Location in Downtown Plymouth!

My boyfriend and I stayed in this lovely home right in downtown Plymouth. The location could not have been more convenient. We could walk to ALL the hot spots in town within minutes. The home was tastefully decorated, updated and had everything you could possibly need. It was also spotless which is so important. The bedrooms were spacious and very comfy! The back yard was so cute and private. It was quite enjoyable to just sit out there and relax. But if you like more activity, the large front porch with rocking chairs was also comfortable. I highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a fun getaway close to everything!
