Located in a tranquil and quiet rainforest setting just a few kilometres off the M1, The Artist Studio is just 15 minutes drive to the spectacular and pristine beaches of Mooloolaba, Maroochydore and Kings Beach to name a few. The famous Australia Zoo, Aussie World entertainment and dining, adrenaline fuelled Big Kart Track and the picturesque hinterland are close by. The University of the Sunshine Coast Elite Sports Stadium is only 10 minutes away with state of the art facilities for Track and Field; Olympic swimming pool; Gym and fitness centre; Courts and playing fields.

Really Quaint
Really nice place to stay for our girls weekend. Nice space and good size rooms. The deck was great for a morning coffee. if you’re looking for a simple and relaxing weekend away this is a great option.

This is a wonderful little place set in a quiet neighbourhood with lovely forest surrounds.
Best first time ever! The owners made the whole experience so pleasant and easy. Cannot wait to do it all again.

Relaxing stay with great extras
My husband and I had a lovely weekend away here. Kathy’s communication was great. Full kitchen and laundry facilities are provided which was handy. The private rainforest setting was very relaxing! The only negative was that we were told light breakfast groceries would be provided, and all that was provided was basic tea, coffee and milk. The nearest supermarket was only a 10 minute drive though so it was easy to go buy groceries ourselves. All in all, we had a lovely stay!

Well Presented
The property is well presented, clean and well laid out. Even though it was a house, it felt very much like an up market resort inside. The location is very handy and close to all the sights and sounds of the Sunny Coast and close enough that Ubers will come out your way to pick you up and drop off. The location is nice and quiet, and is surrounded by lush vegetation giving you the feeling of remoteness and serenity. The bathroom is absolutely amazing with great water pressure which is important after a long day of exploring the country side. The sign saying to conserve water was very hard to abide by as the shower was so luxurious and relaxing. The two air-cons kept the whole house and rooms very cool and manageable on those hot sultry nights in Queensland. The beds were firm and very comfy, had one of the best night sleeps and I have spinal issues. All in all a great place, great hosts and lovely location.

Lovely cottage in a convenient hinterland location
The Art Studio is spacious, comfortable and well equipped. I enjoyed the outlook over the private rear garden and surrounding bush. The cottage is suitable for a longer stay and well located near the attractions of the lower Sunshine Coast. I would definitely stay again.

Was a very restful place which I was looking for. For a family though there isn’t much do to that is close. In the promo there are pictures of a walk down some steps to the beach which to me says that you can access that from the property. The nearest beaches are eleven plus kilometres away.

A Bush Getaway
If you’re looking for a quiet and secluded experience living in the bush, seek no further than this. The home is clean and has all the comforts. The breakfast that was provided was generous and varied. If the opportunity arises, we would come back here.

Peaceful Paradise
This is the perfect place to get away from it all if you need peace and quiet, some alone time. I enjoyed also taking walks around the suburb because it is thick in forestry and mountains. They also provide complimentary food and necessities which is above and beyond expectation. The bed is amazing! I wish I noted the brand of pillows in that room. Kathy is a great host and would ensure your well-being.

Best Coastal Hideaway!
The kids and I had the most enjoyable stay at Kathy's property. Not only was the home incredibly appointed (the artworks are beautiful and I suggest EVERYONE buys a bush pot!) but we loved (being greenie nature lovers ourselves), the commitment and provision to saving water and using natural products in the home. It was lovely to hear the multitude of birds in the surrounds as well as see the little frogs (and cane toads!) to boot. We only wished we could have stayed longer and would absolutely recommend this wonderful space to any potential visitors. Just leave your chemical hairwashes and products at home please!
