About this property
A Sweet Suite in a Stunning Chalet-style Home -- YYZ
This is a beautiful 5 level back-split executive luxury chalet-style Italian home with private entrance for you to access your lowest level below ground suite (via finished garage). Your private level features a clean and spacious 500+ square foot studio suite with 2 separate beds (a queen and a full size), study desk, dining table, armoire, dresser, bar fridge, induction hot plate, microwave, crock pot, Sharp HDTV with Roku (Prime, YouTube), and private washroom. For longer stays, a full-size fridge can be included.
Your private washroom features a bidet installed on the toilet as well as an adjustable shower head in the stand-up shower. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash are included, as is a hair dryer and a heat lamp.
Although there is space in the suite for 4 adults to sleep, it's really not meant for long-term apartment-style living where you intend on cooking 3 times a day. There is a kitchenette similar to what you would find in a hotel, so in that respect it's ideal for 4 people who plan on using the space short-term like a hotel and would be out most of the day to see the many sites. Having said this, for 1 or 2 people, regular cooking on the induction burner or re-heating with the microwave are quite acceptable.
We are a vegetarian household so ask that you kindly do not bring any meat (including fish) onto the premises.
We can accommodate 1 car on the driveway. Parking is ONLY available for the time period (your confirmed booking days) while you are staying with us. If coming from the airport, I can offer Pick-up and Drop-off to Pearson International at a cost of $20 each way.
Some of the exciting events/festivals in Toronto:
- Caribana
- VELD - Electronic Music Festival
- Canadian National Exhibition (CNE)
Also, there are so many other things to see and do:
- See CN Tower and the new Ripley's Aquarium
- Take a day trip to see Niagara Falls
- Visit museums such as the Aga Khan Museum, AGO, and ROM
- Soak in the atmosphere at the Toronto Islands
We are close to Pearson Int'l Airport (YYZ), York University & Humber College (main campus). Also nearby are Canada's Wonderland & Downsview Park. We are in NW Toronto, close to all major 4-series highways. Transit is also easily accessible from here to all parts of Toronto.
Our house rules: no smoking, no parties or events, no pets.
No meat to be cooked or eaten inside.
Be considerate of noise after 10pm.
Shoes are to be left at front door mat; slippers will be provided.
You must also acknowledge
Must climb stairs - there is a very small set of stairs (5 steps) to reach your unit.

About the host
Hosted by Pradeep Bhatia

I love to travel and have been to 74 countries thus far. In Dec 2019 I visited 7 countries in Africa (South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Ethiopia, Egypt) and Jordan. In Spring 2019, I visited 22 countries in Europe, including all 9 Baltic countries (esp. Russia), and most of the Balkans! In Dec 2018, I visited Iceland and Norway. From Sept to Nov 2016, I traveled to 8 countries, including South Korea, China, Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Indonesia, and Australia.
I also love learning new languages and can somewhat communicate in 10 so far!
I am pretty laid back and happy to spend time with guests if they like. I'm always open to a game of pool or air hockey!

Why they chose this property
I fell in love with this property when I first saw it. Most people aspire to end up in a property like this, so it is somewhat of a dream home for me. The original owners spent a lifetime designing and building it and the workmanship and design are top notch!
I chose this area because it's super safe and is surrounded by protected green belt on 3 sides. Also, there are a lot of nice restaurants within walking distance.

What makes this property unique
I love how the home looks like a chalet, its 5 levels, and the generous use of granite, marble, crystal chandeliers, herringbone wood, stained glass, and natural stone throughout. I also fell in love with the 3-tier fountain and the spectacular award winning gardens.
