Tropical Coast Retreat is a 4.5 star self contained luxury Pet Friendly accommodation site featuring all mod cons. We are a 35 acres property nestled on a mountain bluff with both ocean and hinterland views, close to the Gold Coast Airport, Byron Bay, Tweed Heads and Kingscliff. Enjoy the 15 metre pool, Our suites are self catering with ensuite spa baths, many world class restaurants only 10 mins away.
Our retreat is ideal for driving holidays, a midweek escape, weekend getaway or romantic honeymoon.
You'll feel like you're a million miles from the hustle and bustle, when you get away from the crowds, kick back, relax and de-stress, nestled on this rural property, but all the action, night life, culture, sport and entertainment, are within easy drive.

Well behaved pets are very welcome, pets are an additional $20 per pet per night.
The property is unsuitable for children.
We do have 3 suites should family or friends wish to join you on your holiday.

Great Retreat
We had a great time here , with the help of Rick and Veronica whom looked after our needs and our little dog. Anyone looking for a getaway break ,this would be the spot very relaxing.

Magical spot
This was our base when we attended our son’s wedding. We love that it is in a quiet beautiful setting but close to Kingscliff and other great places like Murwillumbah and the Gold Coast.

Loved our stay!
Beautiful location, the owners had thought of everything to make our stay most enjoyable. Our dog had a wonderful time running around the expansive grounds and being spoilt by Rick and Veronica. We slept like logs in this immaculate property and hope to be back in the warmer weather to take advantage of the gorgeous pool.

Pre Summer Short Break
Everything was great. It started when we arrived earlier than the listed check in time, so that we could check out how close shops were. Rick said the place was ready early, and just invited us in to the property and showed us around, and was happy for us to check in straight away. He introduced his dog Bernie to our dog Tux and invited us to let Tux off the leash so they could play. They got on really well. There is plenty of ground for dogs to run around on. There are several walks on the 35 acres. Our suite also had a fenced oudoor area, even though pets are allowed inside. There are plenty of pet friendly areas close by, from off leash beaches to pet friendly cafes and restaurants. The suite had everything you would need on holiday to make life comfortable, even its own BBQ. Certainly very highly recommended, and we would love to return.

Location, close to everything but still isolated, 35 acres of red soil rich farming land all landscaped with a orchard, avocados, custard apples, pool, sauna and spa.
