Cozy clean 2 bedroom cottage on Lake Winnipesaukee. Cottage has 2 bedrooms, full kitchen, living area, bathroom & outdoor shower off of the screen porch! Enjoy relaxing on your outdoor deck with gas grill & dining table! Beautiful screen porch for you to enjoy relaxing for dinner and drinks. Property has 2 fire pits, sandy beach, gradual depth crystal clear water great for kids. We are right across the street from the boat launch. 90 ft dock to put your boat or jet skis. Quiet and relaxing

Nice quiet area of the lake. Friendly owners and available if needed. My 4 stars was only because of a posting on the refrigerator and not online (that I ever saw) that we may have considered over something we planned prior to arrival.

Lake Winnipesaukee Vacation

Jim and Carla were incredible hosts. They really work hard to make sure you have an enjoyable vacation. The cottages are comfortable and cozy. The beach was awesome. Plenty of chairs, kayaks and beautiful views for the adults. The beach is also stocked with plenty of beach toys for the kids. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful location, great hosts!

My husband, myself, and another couple just spent a long weekend here. The cottage was perfect for the two couples, and it would also be great for a couple traveling with children! It was clean and well maintained. There was a wonderful screen porch AND a deck! The property is BEAUTIFUL... right on the lake, and we had access to kayaks, paddle boats, canoes and yard games! There are two great fire pits on the property, also! This was perfect for us, and we definitely want to return!

wonderful stay

We have rented alot of places on Lake Winnipesaukee over the last 35 years and by far this was the best. We Thank Jim and Carla for their hospitality during our stay. The cabins were efficient and had everything we needed. We loved the dock for our boat and the view from their yard onto the lake. We took advantage of the fire pit on beautiful nights that over looked the lake. Great place to rent for families or couples looking to get away. Boat lauch was across the street and location was just enough out of the way from the hussle and bussle of the lake region but yet close enough to everything. We never rented an owner occupied rental before. I would say we didn't rent a place but shared a home with Jim and Carla.

Wonderful but…

The location is beautiful and the shared beach area is really special. It’s a great spot for kids, as there’s a bunch of beach toys, boats and tubes for them to use. We had a blast at the fire pit However, the cottage is quite small for 5 people. Also, be prepared to pack everything you may need, as if you’re going on a camping trip (sheets, hand towels, paper towels, salt/pepper, coffee). Jimmy and Carla were extremely accommodating but it would have been good to know what to pack ahead of time. It’s also worth noting the wifi is very very weak and spotty. Overall, great spot if you don’t plan on spending a lot of time indoors.

Amazing Family Vacation!

We had a wonderful time a Long Island Cottages. Owners Jim and Carla couldn't have been better to work with! The cottages a clean, well stocked with utensils and other cooking needs, and just the right amount of space for a small family. We met some nice families and their children. The beach is beautiful, sandy, shallow to start and the dock can accommodate a boat if you bring one. We were able to rent Carla and Jim's pontoon boat for a couple of days and had a blast! You have to have a NH boating license to drive on Lake Winni...We enjoyed the beach and all the kayaks, paddle boats, paddle board, and canoe. Everyone was super laid back and easy to talk to, which made for a great atmosphere for vacation. There is plenty to do for both adults and children of all ages. We were lucky enough to have "Pizza Night" with Jim, Carla and some of the other guests. The pizza was DELICIOUS....Not to be missed. We were so lucky to have found this gem. Thanks Jim and Carla!!

Beautiful lakeside retreat

We had the best time at Long Island cottages! Carla and Joe were great hosts, friendly, informative, and welcoming! There is a little something for everyone here, paddle boards, jet skis, pontoon boat rentals. Free use of paddle boats, and kayaks. Beach area is gorgeous with plenty of seating and toys for the littles. Two fire pitts are awesome for either a beach fire or a camp fire amongst the pines. Play ground for children. The cottages were clean, fully stocked with all utensils, and cooking utensils/pans. There is a kureg as well as a coffee pot!! We were so impressed with this property, we’ve already reserved a week for next year!! Can’t wait to be back at the lake!

wonderful vacation!

This property was exactly as described. It is a cottage so not as luxurious and large as some, but it really fit the bill. The lake is RIGHT THERE!!! You can easily see it from the screened in porch. We loved the porch and somehow there weren't even bugs on it!! The clincher were the kayaks. They really made our trip. It rained most of the 4 days we were there, but we were still able to take the kayaks out 3 times. It would be so nice to be able to kayak all around the lake. There are so many little inlets and islands. We would definitely recommend this place, and that's saying a lot since we had so much rain!
