Aloha and welcome to our hale (pronounced holly). Thank you for considering our home for your vacation plans. Our one bedroom air-conditioned condominium is located adjacent to the Coconut Marketplace in the heart of Kapaa on the east shore of the Garden Island of Kauai.
The Marketplace has restaurants, gift shops, and a luau for your enjoyment. You can leave the rental car in your free parking stall and take a vacation from driving if you wish. Kapaa is conveniently located midway between Poipu on the Southside of Kauai and the beautiful North Shore. The condominium is ten miles north of the airport in Lihue.
We have free wireless internet. We offer a fully equipped kitchen, including microwave, coffee maker, blender, and toaster. We have two full-size beds in the bedroom. There are two TVs with cable access and a DVD player. There are three grills on the grounds for outdoor cooking and three swimming pools and spas on the property. There is an activity desk at the office. Laundry facilities are available.
The beach is a short walk away. The Safeway and ABC grocery stores are also within walking distance. Relax and enjoy the tropical trade winds on our second (top) floor private lanai with views of the ocean and Sleeping Giant Mountain. We are 44 year residents who live nearby in Kapaa and are available for assistance and recommendations to help make your stay on Kauai as pleasant as possible. Check in is 3PM and check out is 11AM but check with us about early in or late out possibilities.

My husband and I found this to be in a great location to explore the island. Easily accessible for walking to shops, groceries, restaurants, a beach, a bike/walking path. The condo itself is a bit dated and could use some updating but was well stocked and served our purpose well.
There are few more central locations for visiting the island. We had a beach view across the old plantation field with wonderful sunsets and easy walking to all services! Everything we needed was provided and there was a most divine cranberry loaf waiting for us in the fridge care of Jim and Cherry
Property was as expected. Beds were comfortable and there was pretty much everything in the unit that anyone would need. Clean and functional for our trip. We liked the location as it was very central to everything. Travel times to the Waimea Canyon and up to Tunnels Beach were equal. The host Jim is VERY responsive to messages and questions even before check in. I would definitely recommend this rental property for consideration in the future. Not fancy but 100% functional.
Good location close to stores, restaurants, ocean, mountains. Located in middle of the island makes it easy to plan trips on both ends. Owner made it easy by providing supplies like toilet paper soap shampoo paper goods cleaning supplies. Nice view of mountains and ocean from the lanai. Unit was outdated but included all necessary furniture and equipment. AC very noisy. Overall one can enjoy staying here as we did.
We got to meet Jim and Cherrie and they were absolutely awesome. Condo is situated halfway between everything so great. Jim was great about answering all our questions and concerns and suggesting places to eat and happy hours. Place is close to markets and dining.
A bit outdated looking, but with a homey, vintage 1980’s vibe. Great location and nice balcony views. Strong wifi, good AC, comfy bed, adequate shower, well equipped kitchen. It’s a great value and is nicer than the photos show.
The house's location is perfect, equipped with everything you could need. While the view of the ocean from the house is partially obstructed, the balcony is located on the side of the building, offering an excellent overall stay experience. It would be beneficial to schedule a deep cleaning of the place occasionally to maintain its overall appeal.

The unit was comfortable but in need of some updating. The air conditioner was not as effective as we would have liked

Great location, easy walk to everything we needed. Loved the birds that came every morning, even the chickens were fun. Views of beach and mountains! Personnel couldn't have been more help. Gave me directions, suggestions for dinner, and even helped my blind sister to get situated. Thanks for a grand visit. Hope to see you again in September.
We had everything we needed and more! Our host was very accommodating and even allowed us to check out late for our red eye flight! Many good restaurants nearby (we especially enjoyed the gyro stand) and Coconut Market was wonderful! Only downside was a huge wall blocking view of ocean.
These condos are older but we’ll cared for. The location is close to restaurants, groceries and the beach! The property has three pools so it spreads people out. Our host, Jim, was very responsive when we had questions. We would stay here in the future.
