Really, there are no stores, no restaurants, no cars, no kidding.

Little Gasparilla Island is a beautiful bridgeless barrier island only accessible by boat. The island has 7 miles of uncrowded 'Old Florida Beaches'. You truly feel like you are on a private island.

The sunsets! Little Gasparilla Island has the most amazing sunsets. No two are alike. The colors in the afterglow can be spectacular. You will be sure to go home with plenty of magnificent sunset photos. She Sells Seashells offers the opportunity to view the sunsets right from the lanai.

The island offers some of the best fishing. You can fish from the dock or the beach. There are many options for boat rentals and fishing guides. For an adventurous experience you can even try fishing for goliath grouper which can get up to 700 pounds.

There are several options for kayak and stand up paddle board rentals. You may want to try a guided kayak tour through the mangrove tunnels or rent a clear bottom kayak to explore. If you would like to try, there are fishing kayaks available to rent.

The shelling is incredible. You can find a multitude of beautiful shells including sharks teeth and sand dollars. Wildlife is all around you. There are dolphins, manatee, gopher turtles, sea turtles, blue heron, pelicans as well as many other bird species. During sea turtle season you might be able to catch a baby sea turtle release.

She Sells Seashells is a gulf view "beachfully" decorated 2 bedroom 2 bath townhouse. The maximum occupancy is 4 people.

Our home has a King bed downstairs in the master bedroom and 2 queens in the second loft bedroom upstairs.

There are golf cart rentals if you would like to explore the island further. Beach chairs, beach toys, beach umbrella and a handy beach cart are all provided for your stay.

The lower level covered deck is the perfect spot to relax. There are several added amenities to make your stay more enjoyable. There is plenty of comfortable seating, dining table and chairs, hammock, shell wash, stand up cooler, ceiling fans, bug light, beautiful outdoor lighting, fold down bar and a charcoal grill. An outdoor shower is downstairs, which is so refreshing after a day at the beach.

The ferry is free for guests and runs every 1-2-3 hours depending on the day of the week. There is free gated parking on the mainland. Also included is the use of the heated community pool. You can even bring your own boat (21.5 feet maximum) and dock it right at the community dock. There are 33 dock slips on a first come first serve basis. If you choose, you can use the community grill and smoker.

A short drive from the mainland there are several restaurants and grocery stores to choose from.

Cute, clean, and a great view!

We enjoyed this super cute beach house! There are plenty of supplies for the beach and the house is clean and spacious. Christine is fast to answer any questions. Pack light and enjoyed some pizza from One-Eyed Willie’s!

Serene and relaxing

As described, minutes to the beach. Beautiful sunset each night Owner exceeded our expectations when we let her now a beach chair was torn. We told her not a big deal, we were making it work. By the time we returned from beach, 2 new chairs had been delivered Everyone we met was friendly and helpful Definitely returning to the island

Little piece of paradise

I cannot emphasize how great this place was. The unit was great and had all the essentials for vacation. Beach toys, cart, coolers and umbrellas. Kitchen was fully equipped with all utensils, pots and pans. The Weber kettle grill was also great to use. The unit was spacious for everyone and bright and had a great beachy feel. The main bedroom had plenty of room and the bed was super comfortable. Charging plugs were along the bedside as well. Kids never complained about the upstairs beds while there but said they were hard on the way home. Golf cart provided was great to use around the property to get around. The outside downstairs area was a great spot to hangout at night and had plenty of seating. Took advantage of the boat docks as well and rented a boat for a few days. Owner is very responsive to messages and checked in on us to make sure everything was good. Can’t wait to stay here again.

A little taste of Heaven

We enjoyed our stay and were really impressed with the condo! It offered everything we would ever need or want. Very clean and pretty! A bottle of wine as a token of appreciation which we had never expected. The location is picture perfect, amazing view of the gulf! The beach was sugar sand, clean and full of treasures! The water was beautiful and the waves were thunderous. Dolphins made a close up visit which captured everyone's attention. Christine was wonderful to work with, and made our stay very comfortable. I hope to return. Thank you Christine for everything!

Fantastic Stay

I highly recommend She Sells Sea Shells. A wonderful experience from start to finish. The condo was clean and very well furnished. An ideal location with great views of the Gulf of Mexico. The resort offers a free ferry which runs throughout the day, which is a huge plus. Otherwise, you are paying $50-$60 dollars to get to LGI. A great place to unwind - no cars or paved roads, just golf carts. The beach is wonderful. Very quiet and private. Millions of seashells if you are interested in collecting those. Great fishing with many guides available. The owner was great. She responds immediately to any questions or concerns. A great trip. I can't wait to go back!

Slice of Heaven

Staying at Christine ‘s place was wonderful. Little Gasparilla is surely a piece of heaven. Even though it rained most of our stay, Christine ‘s collection of games entertained our teens. The house was very comfortable and extremely clean. The views simply amazing !!! It was a very special vacation. Thank you Christine for sharing. your vacation home with us. The only bad part leaving Little Gasparilla.

Stocked for the beach

Christine has thought of everything for a great trip to the beach we used three umbrellas and beach chairs as well as the beach cart and small cooler everyday. It was such a treat not to have to bring all of that with us from home! The view from the unit is beautiful, decor is lovely, and the island is quiet with lots of shells. Super low-key — just what we wanted.

Wonderful trip! Loved the condo & everything about LGI!

LGI is gorgeous and relaxing. Christine’s condo is beautifully decorated and clean. She provides great communication and a very helpful guide about the island. The unit has a golf cart but we didn’t bother to use it, as the beach is just a short walk away. Gorgeous sunsets every evening! Loved the view from the porch! Lots of birds to watch in the pond out front. We used the island grocery delivery for convenience and everything was set up when we arrived. The beach isn’t crowded and there are lots of shells to find on walks. It’s paradise! The condo is well equipped. The island pizza is delicious! If you’re looking for a truly peaceful and relaxing getaway, LGI is perfect!

Private Island Paradise

My wife and I were looking to spend our 10 year anniversary somewhere private and away from the recent uptick in Florida vacationers, and this Island and property was absolute perfection. Christine (the property owner) was absolutely fantastic. She answered every little question we had, especially considering it was island life, meaning zero cars, only golf carts which was cool! When you first get to the marina, you park your vehicle in a private parking lot. Then you cross the street to the marina to catch a small ferry across to Little Gasparilla Island for a 5-10 minute ride. The ferry ride is free but exclusive to the Hideaway Bay condo units which is perfect. Once on the island, the condo was very modern, fully stocked with spices and appliances for cooking meals. We used the grocery delivery service which stocked our fridge and condo with food picked up from the local Walmart/Publix. That comes with a small fee but absolutely worth it. You don't wanna be lugging tons of groceries on the ferry on a hot day. But make sure you stock up....there are no shops or stores on the island. The internet service isn't the best, but its not the worst either. At the condo, the hot-spot signal is solid. On the beach, use your personal data plan. The beach was immaculate and spacious with blue water and the occasional dolphin sighting. No crowds, no obnoxious guests.... everyone was there for the same reason, and that's for a Private Island Paradise. I will be returning....

Beautiful place !! Very nicely decorated and a fun place to stay. The cleanest condo/house we have EVER rented. Also, extremely well furnished . There is not one item missing that you would need on a beach vacation .. We enjoyed every second. Beach was also beautiful!!

We have always wanted a vacation home. We stumbled upon Little Gasparilla Island on the internet and loved the concept of this bridgeless barrier island with no cars, restaurants or stores. It feels like a private island. We fell in love the first time we visited the island. The beach is uncrowded and peaceful with amazing sunsets! We love treasure hunting for shells, shark teeth and sand dollars. It is the perfect place for us to gather as a family and decompress. Every time we leave the island our family bond is closer.
