Overall an excellent experience. Beds were comfortable, upstairs was great for everyone gathering. The hot tub was just what we needed after a day of exploring town.
We really enjoyed this cabin. Lots of space for the family. We had a great time seeing the wildlife roam around the cabin. We would definitely book again!
The location of the home was a good distance to everything. But the neighborhood is very rundown. The home was very outdated. The deck needs serious replacement, there were parts in the railing where you can hurt yourself, the paint is coming off. The driveway needs to be fixed because it was hard to back out off. The fridge would not work properly. Very cold room downstairs that would not get any heat, vent was open and still no heat. Plumping needs Tobe updated. Downstairs bath was disgustingly clogged. Toilet downstairs made a weird nose when flushed. Blinds were so gross and old. The doors were gross and dirty. The window screen by hot tub was broken. Mattresses were so firm, I am pregnant and my back is in so much pain. Some sheets were dirty upon arrival. Washer and dryer were two different brands. The dryer is up high can't reach it and I'm 5’2. House has a weird smell. Wifi does not work. Very very old TVs.
Overall nice place, was clean and comfortable. Plenty of room for bug groups. Reason im leaving 2 star review is stove and oven doesnt really work took 3 hrs to make a basic breakfast. Other issue is the deck and railing is roted, not very safe.

Affordable Is The Only Good Thing About This Property
After reading the reviews and needing a last minute rental, I thought I found an adequate place for my weekend trip to Ruidoso. While everything seemed fine upon check-in, we noticed quite a few issues with the property.
The driveways need material added to them, otherwise your vehicle are liable to get stuck on the storm drain pipes running underneath both entrances.
The internet connection is almost non-existant, not helped by the fact there is a 10 year old wifi router being used.
There is no safe way to go from the top floor to the bottom floor around the outside of the house.
There are metal stakes protruding from the ground where wood ties used to be. This can make it dangerous to try to get to the hot tub from the top floor without having to go through someones bedroom.
Make sure you document the condition with pictures both before and after you use the hot tub. We used it on one occasion after dark and noticed a dirty film accumulating around the top of the tub. Three days after checking out, the property manager reached out to inform us that they were going to have to charge us to clean it. We were provided pictures that looked as if someone had dumped mud in it. We were then invoiced with the reason being "I have to do this." It is not a coincidence that this is the only possible upcharge that is mentioned when checking in.
I would advise staying somewhere else as this property needs quite a lot of maintenance that nickel and diming guests will not cover.

Property needs quite a bit of repair - e.g. patio doors do not work well Exterior and driveway to front needs some grading. Sleeping space is more like 10 than 12. Of no consequence since we were only 7. Inside of house was ok. All in all the price was fair.
The property was as advised. Convenient to town and a nice place to stay after skiing all day. The hot tub was a bonus to help relax in the evenings. Plenty of room for everyone in our group. The stove not working fully was the only drawback as we cooked at least two meals a day. Overall, a good place to stay and wouldn’t hesitate to book again.
Renting the property easy and convenient. The improvements needed are:
1. Fencing on right side needs to be fixed it is broken
2. The vents downstairs do not heat the bedrooms
3. The exhaust fan above the stove has not been cleaned in years
4. The floors have not been mopped in a while
5. The mattresses need replacing
6. Wi-Fi definitely needs to be upgraded
7. A large screen TV needed especially for large families
Always great to get to Ruidoso when we can! But , there were a few issues with a couple of things that need the owners attention such as for safety when there’s kids involved, on the steps going from bottom level to top out side , the rebar holding the bottom 2 steps really should be hammered Down at least level with steps ! Even with adults ,it’s quite a trip hazard !
And on deck above hot tub , there is a rotten board my son stepped through !!
On the inside , there was a lot of spiders we killed ! And I understand with cold weather upon us, they are coming in a lot more!
Thanks Eduardo for the stay.
Had a Wonderful time in Ruidoso. Accommodations were spacious and we enough room for everyone. Home is well equipped with all necessities, except a wine bottle opener but we had actually received a free one at the winery.. so that problem was solved. Loved the kitchen & living area.. open & spacious. I do think the cement stairs outside need some work but we managed going around them. Overall, a successful stay!
We booked this place for my son in law's bday weekend. Overall decent stay, very convenient location to downtown but could use updates and a deep cleaning.
Pros: easy check-in and check-out, lots of space, nice hot tub
Cons: outdated, lots of problems with stove heating up properly (used the grill to cook mostly), stairs from lower driveway aren't sturdy, upper driveway needs repair (huge dip in driveway while we were there), rails on balcony aren't sturdy either.
This was a perfect location and size for our group! Three bathrooms made it very convenient for our group. Our host was very accessible and understanding about a minor repair that had to be made..
The first night I got there, I got in the jacuzzi and the water was slimy and had debris in it. However, there were chemicals to clean the water, but there was no brush available to scrub it. It was also very difficult for my aunt and mom who have knee problems to get into and out of it. It would also be nice if the place had a watering system so more wildlife would come around. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay very much!!!
This house was great for our group of 12. Plenty of rooms, beds, and bathrooms. The heat on the top floor works really well, but the bottom room by the outside door is quiet a bit colder since the thermostat is up stairs, especially if you lite a fire in the fireplace. The bottom floor though has great access to the hot tub and the big bathroom with great water pressure. The hosts were very quick to respond with any questions we had. The hot tub was great. Upon arrival we did clean it up a little, but the chemicals and such are provided. Every kitchen item we needed they had stocked (except a blender). Overall for the price this rental was a great deal and we will definitely be coming back again!
Overall we found the house very clean and well supplied with cooking utensils. Our main issues with it was that the burners on the stove were inconsistent in heat which made cooking a challenge. The only other issue is that the rail around the deck needs some serious work. It is very loose and could present a fall hazard if your not paying attention.
