This is a lovely 18th century home. We wanted to experience an authentic Tuscan home and this was exactly that. We loved the charm, and were very comfortable. Our host, Tomasso, was welcoming and helpful. Great experience.
The farmhouse was amazing! Very large living space, nicely equipped kitchen, and comfortable beds. The patio and yard were beautiful. The view from the house was spectacular!! You can see Florence from the house. Great hiking in the area. We made the mistake of not renting a car. You need a car. Tommaso was a wonderful host. My family will definitely be back next year.
A brilliant characterful farmhouse that feels very remote but actually only 12 Kim’s from centre of Florence. A lovely stay and ground floor remarkably cool in very hot weather.
Staying here was one of the best experiences I have had while traveling on holiday. The house is stunning and it is in an amazing location not too far out of Florence. It provides easy access by car to both Florence and the rest of Tuscany. Tommaso is an incredible host and he clearly takes pride in providing a place that feels like home for guests.
I cannot recommend this property enough and we will definitely try to stay here again the next time we are in Tuscany!!
The 18th century house is beautifully preserved and very tastefully decorated, the kitchen well-equipped and everything very much in style. Perfect internet, including Netflix and Amazon Prime and other channels. The garden and the area around the house are also delicious, lots of olive trees and a loggia which provides shade, which is probably very good in the summer since the whole side of the house is in the sun - which was fantastic for our October stay. There is a second smaller cottage on the premises which was occupied while we were there, but we never saw nor heard anybody, so no infringement on the wonderful quiet of the place. The single track road up to the house is manageable, not too steep and paved up to the entry to the garden, and it provides the most wonderful views of Florence. Tommaso is a very considerate host. He lives on site but is very unobtrusive, yet always available if necessary. We had a great time and will certainly come back!
