This updated and clean private cottage is close to everything in the South Bay. The home is situated on a private property with its own parking and private entrance. It is the perfect place to be if you want to feel the comforts of your own home while still being able to experience the beach life.

This cottage is a short walk (10 minutes) to the Redondo Beach Pier and south bay beaches, yet easily accessible to the freeways which will take you anywhere from Los Angeles to Orange County in less than an hour.

A short walk will take you to Pacific Coast Highway where you can catch the bus to any place in the South Bay, as well as to the local commuter train station.

A walk in any direction will take you to local exercise classes, restaurants, bars, salons, churches or parks. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly. The house is equipped with everything you could possibly need to stay a week or a couple of months.

Respite from Eaton Fire

This is a lovely property with incredibly kind hosts. I was fortunate enough to find it after evacuating my home for the fires in Altadena/Pasadena. I had everything I needed and was able to get some good rest. Carol and Wayne were incredible. They gave me a great deal due to the situation. I highly recommend this rental, and hope to return in less intense circumstances at another time.

After Christmas with the family

Could not find a place to stay during Christmas and then saw Carol's place where we had stayed before. Loved this luttle getaway. So clean and convenient to both my children. Easy access at all hours. Will definetly do this again.

We stayed 4 days at this place. Great place and spectacular patio space. Got take out from a local Indian food place and enjoyed eating outside. We did multiple walks down to the beach and pier. Great stay.

Great stay!

Carol's cottage worked great for us. We were able to cook a Thanksgiving for five with no problem. The kitchen is stocked with everything one might need. Appreciated it when Carol called us to see if there was anything we needed.

We had a wonderful stay. Perfect as our home base for the Beachlife Festival. 20 minute walk to the Redondo Pier. Very easy check in. Owner checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. We really enjoyed the private patio which was a great place to relax when we were taking a break from the music festival. Quiet location. First time in Redondo Beach and we loved it. We will definitely come back.

Loved this little cottage!

We had a wonderful short stay here and lives this cozy little cottage. The neighborhood is lovely and it is super convenient to have a dedicated driveway parking spot. The area felt incredibly safe and very walkable. We so appreciated Carol & Wayne’s attentiveness and dog-friendly demeanor. The cottage is small but so well laid-out and had everything we needed. Thank you! Would love to stay here again next time we are in LA.

Lovely one bedroom guest house

This guest house has a lovely patio and is within walking distance of the beach. Owner is very cordial and really had thought of everything to make our stay pleasant. We cooked in often and had a very extensive kitchen. Great place!

A very nice stay!

This is a great property that is central to the Beach Cities and private enough that you aren't hearing a lot of traffic or noise. The property is very clean, the bed is very comfortable, the kitchen is big enough that you could probably cook up a nice meal or two. A table to eat is outside, and in the summer this is probably just fine. Our dogs enjoyed staying here too. We had a bit of trouble when we go there trying to decipher the directions for where to park and ended up mistakenly going to the wrong home (actually the owner's home, woops!). It might be good for the owner to just simplify the directions on VRBO saying (guest parks on the left side of the drive way in front of the white garage, and walks into the gate on the left side of the drive way.). The other issue is that the information in the VRBO listing isn't updated for the internet access and one of the phone numbers for the owner is outdated and doesn't go through. This wasn't a big deal but it would be good to update all this information, simplify it, and make sure its consistent with the info that is inside the apartment.
