About this property

Your Family Vacation at the Lake - Lake Wabaunsee, in the Flint Hills of Kansas

Set up for the whole family, plus Grandpa & Grandma, make memories at the lake! The full kitchen is completed with a griddle on the deck. An extra refrigerator in the garage will help with groceries and cold drinks. The updated room over the garage now has 4 queen beds. Lake View Barn now sleeps 14 in beds!
Enjoy our neighborhood restaurant if you prefer. The two docks on the water front are your personal spaces to enjoy the water your way - enjoy the view, fish a bit or float on your tube. Bring your water shoes and life vests for lake fun. There's a rainy day option with shuffleboard and Foosball table in the garage. Five parking spaces are available outside the garage and on gravel beside the shed. There is a washer / dryer in the garage. Let us know if there is any special way we can prepare for your stay. The barn and a lake deck is handicap accessible. Check in is 3 pm and check out is 11am.

Great place for a family

We have returned to the "barn" for several years for our family gathering. The kids especially enjoy the bunk room and the game room and of course swimming. Owners are very easy to work with.

We enjoyed another stay at the barn on Lake Wabaunsee (we think our 5th, but can't remember). The barn has plenty of room for everyone and the kids love swimming off the dock.

Great place on the lake

The place was very clean and the large back porch was a perfect spot for our large group to hang out, talk and catch up. The garage game room was a big hit as well on our "guys trip". Would definitely recommend and we'll be back next year.

Nice weekend getaway location during late spring

The property is roomy and had great views of the lake. The AC kept the lower level chilly but we just couldn’t get enough cool air upstairs in the private bedrooms despite the owner’s assistance in optimizing the system flow. The bunkhouse which sleeps a large number of people has its own AC so it was also cool.

Family Get Together Before School Starts

This property has easy access to the lake without stairs; plenty of room for our group of 8; owner answers questions quickly. This is our family's third time staying there and we will return next year.

Over weekend family members coming and going as their schedules permitted--plenty of spaces for indoor activity when the weather was inclement .. Could not ask for more gracious hosts ; accommodations. are clean and well though out. .

Family Fun

We had such a fun filled 3-day weekend. Cindy and Roger were very helpful. We had 7 adults and 3 kids sleeping in beds all under one roof. The paddle boat and golf cart were our go-to. They sure took care of us!! We loved our little adventures at Lake Wabaunsee. Look forward to coming back!

We love Lakeview Barn

We absolutely love Lake Wabaunsee, but this house has been our favorite so far! Beautiful well kept home and yard. Multiple decks for fishing or soaking up the sun. A blackstone grill and beautiful patio for grilling and plenty of space for the whole family. We will definitely be back. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
