Beautiful property and sweet little cabin with everything you need. This was a lovely place to get away from our daily hustle and bustle and unwind for a few days. We didn't want to leave!
This was our first experience glamping and it won't be the last. The pods are tucked away on the mountain, very private and quiet. You get to enjoy the wind sounds as moves through the trees. The accommodations are quite frankly better even than they looked online. They are very neat and clean. There is plenty of heat in the camping pod and the wifi was great honestly. The shower pod was warm also and there was plenty of hot water. Very in clean in there also. The little fire pit was great to sit around, or for smores. The owners very accommodating, we and they, had just had an ice storm, so we pushed our stay back 1 day. Everything was deiced and ready to go when we got here. There is even extra propane for each of the firepits. Really I just can't say enough good about this place. If you haven't tried glamping or love the tiny home movement this is for you. Thanks so much, we'll be back!
We love to keep coming back to Iris Hill when we need a quick and easy getaway. Cannot recommend this property enough to couples or someone seeking some solitude.
The cabin was beautiful and I enjoyed the peace. Property owner helpful and communication was very good. There were a lot of spiders on the outside porch area but that’s expected when in the woods- nothing a quick trip to Walmart didn’t fix with spider and bug spray. Overall very nice.

Liked: Cleanliness, amenities
This is a great find. I needed a few day's solaces. This was perfect! What you get is a clean space, a coffee maker and a fridge. Outside you get a firepit and literally steps from your "bedroom" a private bathroom pod. Which is cool the way they face it to you. Your closest neighbor is over 50' away. You also get a lovely forest view and there is a hammock that I had the most welcome nap in. If you need to you're only a semi adventurous drive down one road into the outskirt of town. What you don't get is rushed, hustle, bustle, city noise, and stress. If you found those things. You brought them with you. This is a great first timer place to Glamping due to location and price. I cant wait till up in this area of the country again. Ginny took care or me. OH the bathroom! Modern, surprisingly modern! The shower was big enough to feel comfortable. Fresh towels, a small sink, and a nice toilet. Water pressure was great, and you face toward your pod, soon awkward stepping out in a robe and having your neighbors ...right there. Very well thought out. Book it!
My 17 year old daughter and I stayed here for 3 nights and it was wonderful. She was even excited about it, which says something, lol. The Ginny pod was serene, clean and super comfortable. We would definitely like to stay again!
I would definitely come back to this cabin! It was amazing and such a fun trip!

Fantastic Spot
My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay at Iris Hill in the Ginny! These "pods" are perfectly appointed with everything you need - fridge, coffee maker, microwave, TV, fire pit, heat, ac, comfy beds, towels for the bathroom just steps away. The property has goats, a pony, roosters (?) and donkeys - we fed them apples every evening. The view of the stars in the evening is unparalleled. There is also a nice gazebo area with a large gas grill to use.

Glamping at its best!
Lovely place to stay. Ginny pod was perfect size, immaculate and very comfortable. The surroundings are peaceful and the daily visits from the deer just made it all the more enjoyable. All this, and it’s only a few minutes from the historic downtown!

Goat whispering
My wife located Iris Hill on-line and booking the dates were very easy. We had a very peaceful stay in the little village of cabins, which were extremely clean and had all of the amenities you might need. The owner helped us settle in and we felt well-tended to, without being obtrusive. I have recommended Iris Hill to at least four of our friends. The two goat residents made friends with me because of my Animal Crackers. The resident donkeys preferred my wife and her apples, making her an ass whisperer.

Cute little pods of fun!
These little pods are just the right size, and very functional. We particularly like the private bathroom pod with its big shower. Just ten minutes from the downtown action, but a wonderful feeling of being off into nature. Very friendly people to do business with!
