Great Location

The property was close to all that Asheville has to offer. The only thing I didn't like was that the master bedroom has a small bed. My husband is 6' tall and we felt cramped. Otherwise the resort does have a lot on premise. They have a mountain bike courses and there is a zipline place next door.

Property in need of repair

The pictures shown with the listing did not align with the property. The property is run down and in need of work inside and outside, several appliances leaked. Several of the TVs were not operational the first day. The property we stayed in backed to railroad tracks. The golf course looked nothing like the picture. The creek shown in picture was not visible from our villa. There were no extra garbage bags or any items to use to wash dishes. Most misleading VRBO ever.

Great spot close to Asheville uptown and easy in and out of.

We went to all the great sites from the Biltmore to the waterfalls and this was a great spot.

High Price for Value

Again property that could use some renovation. Very sparse selection of cooking items -- few pots, 1 small frying pan , no strainer. Some of the knives and serving utensils had not been washed sufficiently. There was only 1 porch chair, which was inconvenient.

Odd how units are listed sep on VRBO but no info on names and scattered reply regarding availability. Too complex and confusing. Also up charge via VRBO not consistent with daily rates published via host resort. Still once the unit was confirmed available the experience at property was generally good. Clean and away from crowds so good for COVID travel. AC in one room noisy but worked well. Kitchen frig/stove clean but not well equipped. Had to ask/wait for coffee maker, ice, ice bucket. Only one plate in the cabinet. No soaps in one of the baths. Glad Ibrought provisions for food prep.

“Villa” is misleading.

The appearance and pictures gives the appearance of a villa as in separate and apart from anyone. That is not the case. While the unit is mostly private, I was awakened by noisy neighbors on two separate nights. The unit itself is marketed as renovated but in fact it appears to have been partially renovated. The tub is vintage and does not match the vanity which is pictured. The toilet was a scary affair on each flush. The bed is dated and uncomfortable. The prehistoric room phones did not work as in no dial tone. I wa surprised at the lack of quality considering these villas are inside a Crowne Plaza property. Booking with VRBO was apparently a handicap in this instance.
