Loft Cottage in Morpeth, Pets welcome.

Loft Cottage is a quaint cottage located in the garden at the rear of the Surgeon`s Cottage.
The Cottage has two queen bedrooms, is fully self contained, air conditioned, with ceiling fans in both bedrooms.
The second bedroom is on a mezzanine level which requires some agility to access the stairs.
The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen, living /dining room with TV/DVD, and bathroom on the ground floor, with a spacious front verandah overlooking the serene garden.
A gas barbecue and shared covered seating area.

Please advise if you are bringing you pet, as there is a extra charge of $50 per stay.
The garden is suitable for small dogs only, and your pet must not be left unattended indoors, and is to be kept on a leash while outdoors.
Infants: Cot, linen, high chair and bath $40 per stay.

I think I over paid for the property

It was raining when we got there. The bedroom window was leaking water heavily which resulted in water on the floor along the side of the bed. Had to use the bath mat & towels to avoid slips. No wifi so very hard to talk on the phone. Also TV reception patchy so we were unable to watch it. The loft staircase was very steep so we slept downstairs. Other than that it was ok.

Rude host

Booked this place as it seemed like a great spot for a blended family Arrived and the whole house had the most horrible smell, everyone mentioned it as soon as they walked in. In the ad it advises sleeps 5- so you would think 2 queen or double beds and a single, yeah nope it was an old filthy couch. As we couldn’t and Wouldn’t get an 11 year old girl and 17 year old boy ( not related) to share the queen bed. The host demanded final payment a day early, then accused us of stealing 2 towels and requested we pay them $30- I challenged this then the host said on I’ll go and have a look at the property- so she hadn’t even been to check. I wonder how many other people they have done this too and they have payed out of fear. But if all of the above tickles your fancy book this cottage

The property was great except for the queen bed mattress .The most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept on
