This centrally located 475 sq ft (44 m²) apartment with hard wooden floor and nice carpentry, situated on ground floor in quiet area nearby Central Station (only 2 busstops away), is really amazing by it's art decorating and surprising design.

Very nearby what was elected in 2011 and 2012 as the most pleasant shopping street of the Netherlands you'll find a variety of conveniences as foodmarket, cinema, restaurants (Japanese, Indian, French, Italian, Dutch, Chinese etc), cafés, bistros, all kind of small shops.

At a two minutes walk you'll get the feeling being in a typical Dutch harbour village: Bickerseiland and Prinseneiland.

Amsterdam offers a lot of famous museums like the Van Gogh Museum, Rijksmuseum (national museum), Stedelijk Museum (modern art). Ideal Amsterdam holiday base
Peter was a very good host. Great with communication and the meet and greet upon our arrival. The property is in a very good location, walking distance from the train station and all the sights. Good choice of cafes, shops and bakeries in the next street

Such an amazing stay!!
My fiance and I had stayed here for 5 nights and we loved it! The home was cosy and clean and even though it is right next to the train line and roads, we did not hear anything the entire stay. The host Peter, is a lovely lovely man who has everything waiting for you if you need it. Could not recommend this stay enough :)

A wonderful place to stay. We enjoyed the quality of the accommodation and it's location, We were within walking distance of the city centre, and so many other places of interest.

Fantastic Apartment in a Great Location
We really enjoyed staying in Peter’s lovely apartment. The apartment lived up to the description we had read and more! It is well equipped with everything needed for our week long stay. The street behind the apartment has cafes, restaurants, supermarkets and a laundry service where you can leave your clothes and they come back smelling great and neatly folded. Peter is a great host, communicating with him before our visit was easy and informative, he even met us at the apartment and checked us in. The apartment is easily accessed by public transport and the centre of Amsterdam an ten minute walk away. I highly recommend Peter’s apartment to couples visiting Amsterdam.

Perfect for a Couple
The unit is well presented, functional and a little quirky. It is well insulated from noise. Peter is a wonderful host. He met us at the unit and showed us how everything works. The location is great. We could walk to all the attractions in the city. I would recommend this property for any couple wanting to stay somewhere close to the centre of the city.

Beautiful and comfortable home in a gorgeous city.
This property is such a unique and beautiful place to stay. Close enough to the centre of Amsterdam to be super convenient, yet still in a quiet location. Peter is a perfect host, very helpful and informative, he provided a comprehensive tour of the property and told us all about the city and things to do nearby. The stay was very comfortable and wit allowed us to enjoy our first time in Amsterdam very much. An absolute treasure!

Great place and location.
Peter’s place is perfect for two people. The bed is very comfortable and surrounded by a Japanese style cabinet and paper shade set up that provides some privacy from the ‘dining/living area of the studio. The bath is modern and the kitchen while small has everything we needed. The expresso machine is great allowing for excellent coffee and it is easy to use. The location is great with a bus stop just steps away that leads right to central station in just 2 stops from where you can go almost anywhere in the Netherlands quickly. There is also lots of great shopping including an Albert Heijn grocery just one block away. My favorite thing was that it is such a short walk to the popular Jordaan area of Amsterdam and all of its great restaurants. Absolutely a wonderful stay, thanks so much Peter.

Apartment on Haarlemmer Huittinen
Cool place. The host's son (Jelle) was friendly and met us to hand over the keys and instruct us on the layout and amenities. Loved the Japanese theme design; accordingly, in line with that, good use of space. One of the best-equipped kitchens we have had in a VRBO rental. The location was great; we loved the neighborhood. It was close to good restaurants and museums. We would stay there again without hesitation.

Perfect Accommodation in Amsterdam
We were so pleased to find Peter's lovely apartment in Amsterdam. It is conveniently located in a vibrant neighborhood on the bus line going directly to Centraal Station (5 minutes). The apartment is spacious, comfortable, well-decorated, and very safe. And no steps! It is located on the ground floor of a traditional Amsterdam canal house. We would highly recommend Peter's apartment for a single or couple. He is a most accommodating and charming host!

Super apartment in a great location
This apartment was modern, clean, comfortable, well-equipped, quiet, and very functional. The location was excellent - close to Centraal Station, Ann Frank House, De Poezenboot etc. There was so much to do within walking distance, and transit was very accessible. It was outside of the really touristy area, but close enough that we could get there on foot. The host was very communicative and provided a thorough introduction to everything. Highly recommend staying here.

Perfect location! Great host!
Our host Peter met us for checkin and showed us the apartment and how everything worked. He left us fruit, juice, wine and tulips. The apartment was perfect for two and the location was perfect for walking to most areas of Amsterdam. The immediate neighborhood had restaurants, shopping, and laundry facilities available. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this apartment for two for anyone who would like to visit Amsterdam.

A Wonderful Stay in Amsterdam
Our stay in Amsterdam was for a month. The apartment and neighborhood were perfect for our needs. We love to walk and roam, and we could walk everywhere we wanted to go and the neighborhood is so charming and delightful, but out of the crowded touristy section. The apartment has everything we needed except for a washing machine but there is a very efficient laundry right around the corner. Peter is a wonderful host, so responsive to any reasonable request which made our stay very comfortable. What we really appreciated is how much he shared his love of Amsterdam, which enhanced our stay. Thank you so much!
