If you want a private, peaceful getaway to experience all that Maine has to offer look no further. This is a year round waterfront home right on the water located in Rockwood Maine. Swim, boat, snowmobile, fish and ice fish right from the property. This home is in an exclusive association accessed down 18 miles of well maintained dirt roads. Home has a large yard & boat launch area with a dock on Moosehead lake. The perfect family trip for wildlife, kayaking, rafting, fishing, bird watching swimming and sitting by the fire. Home is off grid but has solar with auto generator power to provide all the amenities including WIFI.

Terrific location

This was secluded, quiet and right on the lake! We loved every minute. We saw moose, eagles, loons and loved the wildlife. Great accommodations and everything we hoped for.

Lovely stay!

We had a great week on the lake. We loved that there was both a dock and a way to wade into the lake from the little beach (good for little ones who aren't ready to jump off the dock). House is comfortable and has everything you need. And the deck is perfect for stargazing.

Week in heaven

Had a great getaway, from life. It was totally remote which we loved. The weather was amazing. Used the wood stove and had a campfire everyday. Night. Only negative was that we had to leave. Will be back next year!!! If you love the woods and wildlife. This is the place to come! If you love shopping. Then please stay in Greenville 😆😆😆😆😆

Property itself is fine/good. Stayed there in the past. Now, houses are being built on adjacent lots, and a subdivision down the road is in progress dramatically impacting the reason one chooses this location - to get away. Something to be aware of if that is your goal. Pots, pans, silverware and utensils also needed replacement, and upgrading.

Peaceful fall Vacation

The house and property are beautiful. The main space of the house is comfortable with great views of the lake and changing foliage. Loons were going off during our stay. Very remote and peaceful. About a 45 minute drive from the Rockwood gas station. The dogs loved it too! We hope to be back.

Beautiful place, best vacation!

The remoteness was the draw to this property! We spent the week on the dock, in the water and around the fire pit. Couldn't have asked for better weather. Perfect place for a relaxing get away!

Comfortable house nice lot great access to Moosehead Lake in peaceful North Bay

Great secluded experience. House was very comfortable nice layout. Nice yard and good access to the lake. Love this part of the lake very peaceful. Easy to launch boats, swim, nice dock with benches, fire pit was great, relaxing on the hammock. The wrap around deck with outside table for lunch and dinner and morning coffee great amenity. Would absolutely stay here again.

Fun!!
