Great Little Cottage in Great Location

Modern cottage in great location

The cottage is small but very modern. It was equiped with everything you possibly need. Nina is great host and very responsive to any questions we had. Location is very good and close to beach. The pool is a great addition. The one thing I would raise is that the pool and outdoor area are shared with another holiday accomodation, though it didn’t impacted us at all. Thank you for having us.

Great he base

Lovely little property, the loft bed is super cute! Has everything you need and the lap pool is nice - it is a shared space. Easy walk to cafes and Mahon ocean pool.

Sydney stay

Loved this place! Enough room for 2 kids and two adults, fully equipped kitchen, really convenient. Use of the pool was an added bonus. Close to the beach (4 hours free parking). Great food and pubs just a short walk away. Host was available but not too close. Thank you Nina! Was lovely!

Beautiful stay

Lots of problems - freezing cold

I booked this place to visit my Nephew on his 13th Birthday - his first teenage year, a nice family celebration. Unfortunately for us, the Owner had made some mistakes on her listing and ticked that she had Air Conditioning, which was an absolute necessity to me as it was middle of winter and 2 degrees at night. I arrived with my 5 year old in the evening, in pouring torrential rain to discover a freezing cold cottage. Owner met me upon arrival and proceeded to argue with me when I was upset it was cold and there was no air-con and accepted NO responsibility!?. What to do when it's dinner time and you've just arrived with a 5 year old child and luggage. 3 little oil heaters which had apparently just been put on, so hadn't warmed anything pre-arrival - very inconsiderate and I was gutted. My sister and nephew arrived and were shocked at how cold it was, we put on the gas top burners on the stove to heat the room. Bedding was nice and clean but thin - for summer! I slept with 2 duvets, ugg boots a jumper and a scarf! No other spare blankets. The listing also said 3 bedrooms, it is NOT. 1 master with a door and ensuite, the 2nd bedroom is a mezzanine bed which is in the hallway on the way to Bedroom 1 - completely open to the living area noise - totally inappropriate for children if you want to stay up after they go to bed, unless you sit in the master bedroom which has no TV. Bed 3 is a sofa bed in the kitchen/living area which is so thin the springs poke into you and my 13 year old Nephew refused to sleep on it. It was NOT even made up for us - no sheets, and I specifically asked that the boys sleep separately. Again, NO apology from Owner, just blamed the Cleaners the next day. No pantry items as listed (whole peppercorns and rock salt...) Dirty/used scourer and half a bottle of dishwashing liquid I was so flustered upon arrival, I misplaced the car rental key and lost the whole next morning searching. By that stage, I'd just decided to buy some fan heaters I was so exhausted by it all. Fuse blew electrics one night and had no heating until after 10pm - not Owners fault and she reacted swiftly just a bad electrical job but just added to the negative stay. It IS a nice little modern cottage, clean and lovely bathrooms. It just needs some details fixed. Asked me if I would like to return, now we are fighting about compensation. Would not stay here again unless Air con installed.

A very welcoming home

We stayed the second time with Nina and it was like coming home. All was perfect and Nina is a very nice host. If ever we come back to Sydney we would like to stay with her again.

A short but lovely stay

What a lovely, cosy place. We couldn’t use the pool because of the weather but the location was quiet, it was a quick drive to shops and very cosy when the weather was bad. We loved it

Perfect location!

This was perfect spot for the family! Easy access to public transit, walk to beaches and restaurants. Pool a big hit with grandson. Very clean and comfortable.

We stayed as a family of four with our two young children for five nights. Great place to stay with everything you need and well located for transport links or walks to the beach. The pool was a great addition too. Communication with the host was excellent throughout the whole process. Thank you.
