Lodging Features: This fabulous two story town home along the Scenic Gulf Drive is located right across the street from the white sands and emerald green waters of the Gulf of Mexico offering spectacular unobstructed views from both levels. The shabby chic decor of this town home has a very cozy feel but also has all the upgrades to make a vacation here extra special. The kitchen has beautiful stone counter tops, white cabinetry, white appliances, and all the comforts of home with the full compliment of house wares. The dining table comfortably seats six and there are two bar stools for additional dining at the breakfast bar. The living room offers a large flat screen TV, and cozy furnishings. The master bedroom features a king bed, sleep number with cozy bedding, and an incredible Gulf view from a private balcony. You will love the brand new extra large shower in master bathroom. A full bathroom for the second bedroom as well as a convenient half bathroom downstairs next to the kitchen.

The guest bedroom is beautiful decorated with white cottage style furnishings, 1 trundle bed and a queen size bed, cozy bedding, and a flat screen TV.

Great girls trip!

3 day girls trip was perfect. The condo was clean and had everything we needed. It’s in the perfect location with a clear view to the water and took 2 minutes to be on the beach. We walked to restaurants and a really good coffee shop. The owner was super helpful and quick to respond with any questions. We are already talking about when we can book our next trip!

Can’t beat the location!

The location of this property is amazing, you’re about 30 steps from your PRIVATE beach access. We never had trouble finding a spot to set up bc this section of the beach isn’t crowded. Darlene was easy to communicate with. Beds were comfortable, balcony view was perfect. We will definitely be returning!

Great location. Beach just across street. Loved the porch swing. Property is dated. Would have been nice to have had window blinds & room darkening curtains in master. So much light no one could sleep. Very relaxing time. Overall was a great time.

overall pleasant experience

this being my first time ever to book on vrbo or similar rentals, i was mostly satisfied with the experience. the bad part was the check-in since i did not receive instructions on how to gain access into the home or beach. so just make sure to get that information a day before you arrive. other than that, everything else was great.

Home away from home

This is our second time staying here with our golden pup. We seen some updates are slowly being made. We love the area. Specifically this location. The walk path was perfect we would walk our dog 2-3xs/day. Beach across the street. Restaurants shops coffee shops all along the walk path. The balcony is always a plus. We love it I can’t wait to return again.

Wonderful location; sweetest host!

We had a great time visiting Destin for the first time! Darlene was a wonderful host! Great communication throughout the whole process! The kids (11 and 13 years) loved that the beach was right across the street! We love that this place is pet friendly because we were able to take our dog along with us! Though she was not allowed to go on the beach, there were plenty of places to walk her around the house and down the street! If you are bringing a dog, we highly recommend taking your dog to Topsail State Park which is nearby! Nice walking trails to walk with the dog. Though dogs are still not allowed on the beach, one of us went with the kids on the beach, while the other walked the dog on the trails! We were able to take turns walking the dog so we could each check out the beach.

Very nice place, but strict pet rules

Very nice place in a great location, just very strict pet rules. Short walk to beach and everything was lovely except the owners cleaning lady came by to drop off a package while we were there and saw a dog on the couch through the window. I was sent a message and it just put a damper on the rest of our trip. It’s just a vulnerable feeling almost like someone is spying on you. We took very good care of the place though, otherwise it is really a great location.

Perfect little slice of heaven

Not enough room to tell you all the perks to this place. 30 sec to the beach. Everything in the house you could ever need. Walk to several restaurants. Shopping and groceries just a mile or so down. Outlets 10 min drive. Darlene is so responsive and accommodating. Even with me being nervous about the tropical storm approaching, she helped calm my fears and answered my questions quickly. There was not a single thing I would have changed. Don’t forget to follow the directions to a tee on the keypad lock. She gives perfect instructions. If you need beach setup, there were 2 vendors at the bottom of the stairs to the private entrance. We were lucky that and there were chairs left that we used. The condo is so close that we would just go back to cool off every few hours. It really is a perfect little place that suited our every need. Thank you Darlene!!!

Darlene was very communicative. The location was outstanding. The condo was quaint yet roomy had nearly everything you would need for a week stay. This is the type of property we will always search for. No complaints only suggestions.
