My family and I loved this property! We enjoyed the tranquility and all the great relaxation spots like the pool and swings. Laurie was great to work with and was super responsive. We can’t wait to visit again the next time we get together in the area!
Visiting family in Mocksville and found this beautiful property to stay! Spent a lot of time relaxing on the porch and sitting at the pool. Highly recommended, would love to visit again.
Great fun for 70th birthday party. Family of ten slept nicely for the weekend, and 30 people loved the place for the party. The pool was plenty big. The farm is charming: quiet and pretty.
We gathered for a celebration of life. It was such a beautiful venue, lots of cool spots to gather and enjoy each other.
Hope we have another occasion to come stay (in warmer weather).
We were here a year ago.
We all felt so relaxed and enjoyed the character of the property.
Enjoyed hanging out at the pool.
Dining room perfect for our group of 10.
Our family spent a week here and had a great time. The pool was definitely a highlight for everyone. The grounds are beautiful. It was very peaceful and quiet. We enjoyed dinners outside under the lights. The house had plenty of room for our party of 8 adults and two under 2. We had lots of room for board games and for the kids to play. Wonderful porches to sit outside and enjoy the beauty and read and relax. Definitely a fun and relaxing vacation. Owner was very quick to respond.
I rented this property for an event and it was hands down one of the nicest venues I have ever rented. Beautiful, a great get away for our group. Comfortable, all the amenities you need for a large group or a family. Laurie was a dream to work with and made everything so easy. Any event I have in NC- I would consider this venue. Beautiful grounds, plenty of room, an extra cottage on the property that can be rented for more guests. 100% I will be back!
Our son and daughter-in-law were married in the area so our family and her family stayed together at the house. We sponsored the rehearsal dinner there. It was perfect. The house is just as advertised, beautiful and roomy. The outside grounds are gorgeous. It was like being at home. Every attention to detail was thought out. Laurie was awesome to work with. She was so helpful and very attentive to all our needs and questions. We highly recommed this property and will most certainly stay there again.
Everything we expected!
We wanted a place to stay, unwind, recharge, let loose from life's current challenges. Very private and charming home and property. We had 8 adults and 2 young children. Everyone had their own space. We cooked/grilled every meal. The large pool was our center for fun. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
The house was great, and the private pool was amazing. One of the rooms is a lot smaller than the others, and there is no picture of it. With kids, it wouldn’t be a problem…but with only adults someone will have to draw the short-stick. Glass is not allowed at the pool (with good reason), so make sure you bring plastic cups. Plenty of seating at the pool, plenty of towels available.
Me and my family stayed here for a long weekend to celebrate my mother's 60th birthday. We spent the days swimming in the pool, or relaxing on the rocking chairs. It was the perfect getaway to recharge.
The house was beautiful with so much history. We needed to get away and this property gave us some peace and quiet. Our kids just loved the pool and loved having the option to share a room. We will definitely be returning!
This is a very beautiful property. The house is very spacious and accommodating. The owner does a wonderful job communicating when you need something. Having six adults and three children it was perfect for a family trip.
My family and I enjoyed a relaxing retreat in the country while attending our daughter’s college graduation. The house comfortably fit all of us. The property grounds were exceptional. We would highly recommend this property.

I am one of 7 children. My brothers and sisters and I inherited this amazing place from our parents. I am the farm manager and love every minute of taking care of it! Throughout my life, until I was an adult we lived in town but we spent every weekend with my family on the farm riding horses, planting gardens, playing, etc. In 1993 My father convinced my mother to renovate the house and move here permanently. It is still a special family gathering space we all enjoy.
