Lakefront home on beautiful Lake Chatuge nestled in a cove offering stunning sunsets conveniently located in a quiet neighborhood close to Hiawassee, Young Harris, and Blairsville, GA as well as Hayesville and Murphy, NC, with many popular restaurant options within a mile. Also just a 2 hour drive from Atlanta and Asheville.

Lot lays very well with gradual slope and is an easy short walk down to the lake. Lake can also be accessed by walking around from the rear of the house to avoid stairs if needed.

We are located about a mile from the Ridges Marina if you would like to rent a boat during your stay. We are also located about a mile from a public boat ramp off of Red Banks Drive if you care to bring your own boat.

We have online booking for your convenience. Please ensure that you have read and can comply with our rental policies before making a booking request. The most important to consider is 8 guests maximum including children/infants, no pets, etc. If you have any questions please feel free to contact us.

Quick Christmas Getaway!

We decided to get a little family vacay time in before end of year! Our stay here was perfect! House was nicely decorated for Christmas which made us feel very comfy and at home! We had everything we needed plus some!! Would definitely recommend!!

Beautiful relazing waterfront property

Our family had a wonderful family reunion here. The weather wasn't the best, but we managed to kayak and use the paddleboat in the drizzle. It was gorgeous. The home has everything you need to make meals. The pool table was extra fun as well as other games they have in the place. The owner was wonderful and very helpful and accomodating. I would definitely recommend staying at this vacation home. It's beautifully set up even with the rain!

Wonderful!

This property was way beyond our expectations! It was very clean and so comfortable. It was stocked better than any property I’ve ever rented and so organized you could find anything you needed. We highly recommend this property and will definitely rent again. The only thing I would suggest would be more comfortable seating on the porch. With such a fantastic view, it would be nice to have more comfortable chairs.

Fun at Lake Chatuge

The 4 br 3 ba house was well furnished from kitchen to bedroom and bathrooms. the lake view was spectacular and the lawn leading to the dock was grass covered with a gentle slope, There are many restaurants in the area, We hope to come back.

Family Summer Getaway

My family had such a relaxing and very special time during our recent stay at this beautiful lakehouse! So much that we’ve already booked a stay again for the fall. We enjoyed the paddle boat, kayaks and the dock during the day. Then we enjoyed the huge awesome deck off the main floor, taking in the beautiful view of the lake and mountains in the early morning and evening. We’ve never stayed anywhere that was so close to just being in our own home. There is the convenient availability of anything you might need. Everything was so very clean, and the layout and home decor was amazing.

20th Annual Memorial Weekend Girl’s Trip

The home is perfect for a group of 8. Everything was spotless and we had everything we needed to prepare and cook our meals. The views are breathtaking!! Will definitely be back and recommend to others. The owner was friendly and quick to respond to text messages.

This is our third time back. Accommodations are perfect for a few couples. Everyone has their own space. Only suggestion I would make is to change out the huge bar stools with the decorative backs that stick out so far that you can’t get by without hitting yourself on them.

Family Holidays

We stayed for the Christmas holidays so that we could all be together in one place for Christmas morning. The house was very clean as well as the surroundings property. Kitchen was well stocked with everything needed to cook a holiday dinner. It was perfect and I would stay here again with my family. They loved it! Beautiful home!

Great Get Away

We loved everything about it. It was comfortable In a good location to go to Hiawassee, Young Harris, Blairsville, and Hayesville and Blue Ridge. We watched the sunsets and the deer that visited near the shore behind the house. One suggestion for future renters: There are no bars for support in the showers.

PARADISE on Lake Chatuge

The absolute perfect getaway destination for all ages. The bedrooms were spacious and bathrooms were immaculate. The kitchen is roomy enough for several people to work in at one time. Loved the separation of areas (3 stories) and the easy access to the lake. And just as described - unbelievably beautiful sunsets!!!! Michelle was super quick to respond to any questions and made the check-in/check-out process seamless. We hope to be back soon!

Perfect Lake House

This property was everything we hoped it would be. We enjoyed the kayaks and paddle board on the lake every day. We cooked s'mores, enjoyed jumping off the dock, played lots of pool, slept soundly in the very comfortable beds, and enjoyed the smart TV in the living room at night. The house is situated in a quiet cove that made for a peaceful vacation. This place is a winner.

Lakefront Perfection

We have been renting lakefront homes on Lake Chatuge and Nottely for the last ten years. This is by far the best property we have ever rented. The house was absolutely beautiful with a perfect layout for vacation. Bathroom showers were like something you see on HGTV - stunning! Neighborhood felt very private. Driveway and carport provided plenty of parking and house was easy to access and very convenient to town. We spent lots of time swimming off the dock. Water was clean and clear. The carpet on the dock was really nice because didn’t have to worry about boards being hot or someone getting a splinter. Kayaks, pool table, corn hole provided lots of entertainment. Deck seating was plentiful and provided the perfect spot to watch the sunset. This place had everything! We are already looking to book here again next year. Thank you Michelle for a wonderful stay!!

Would put zero stars if possible

During our week stay, there were several tremendous issues. Entering the house, we found huge cockroaches dead on the kitchen & bathroom floor. I’m guessing the homeowners failed to properly clean the house before our arrival. The grass in the back yard was grown high, and not well kept. After our vacation was almost over, someone came in and finally mowed. The dock was infested with spiders and different kinds of bugs. The water around the dock had mosquitoes, gnats, and algae all over it. It made it hard to enjoy the water. There was trash left over from the previous occupants when we arrived, which emitted a foul odor. We had no where to place our own garbage. No one came to collect the trash the entire week we were there. The beds were hard as rocks, and smelled like urine. It made it difficult to sleep at night. Some nights, after eating out, we would return to find that things would be moved around inside the house. We believe someone may have entered the home while we were gone. A man kept coming up during our vacation, and asked to use the dock; which we refused. He was always intoxicated. Several large pieces of glass found in the gravel driveway. The homeowners were also extremely strange. They came early before our checkout time, which held us up. The homeowners were an elderly bald man and his wife, and both were extremely rude. We overheard the old man cussing at his wife, and making inappropriate comments. Overall, we left with a bad experience.

Amazing place for an amazing family vacation

This home/location helped make this one of our best family vacations ever! The layout was perfect for our family. The complimentary amenities gave our adult children enough extra outdoor activities to keep them entertained outside when we weren’t hiking the beautiful trails. I highly recommend this home!

I have always wanted to be on beautiful Lake Chatuge. This location is centrally located near downtown Hiawassee, Young Harris, Blairsville, Hayesville and Murphy and is only a 2 hour drive to Atlanta or Asheville.
