Wonderful Thanksgiving!

Great spot, wonderful house, very clean. Nice dock at the bottom of the property. Will definitely rent again to be close to our family in Acworth.

Fun Family Lake Weekend

We had a lovely long weekend at the cottage having flown into Atlanta from the west coast and northeast to visit Canton family. Kids stayed in the bunkbed room, adults in the other two BRs. A little too chilly for boating and the water level has already been dropped BUT it didn’t matter at all. Kids were hunting for nuts down along the water, playing board games on the big farmhouse table on the awesome covered porch and watching shows together - such good quality family time♥️. We even took our big family photo on the large porch swing bed - super cute. We didn’t cook in the kitchen so can’t speak to that but traditional coffeemaker worked, microwave was clean and the whole place had a very quaint and fresh vibe. We packed life vests in an extra checked luggage only to find they weren’t necessary (some were available) but not a big deal. Oh, and we couldn’t find the hairdryer that’s listed but beyond that, this was great, would definitely return!

Great family lake getaway!

We are so thankful the property owners share their home and allowed us to stay over a long holiday weekend. The home is on a lovely quiet cove, perfect for paddle boarding, swimming, and also provides easy access to all the rest that Lake Allatoona offers. This was just a great place to enjoy the lake and our boat for a long family weekend! Thank you.

Beautiful quiet cove

My wife and our daughter stayed with another family and their children for a weekend at the lake. Property owner was great. The house is perfect for a getaway weekend… great big deck overlooking the lake, we stayed there or on the dock most of the time. There were plenty of kayaks/ paddleboards/ toys to keep the kids busy. The house was cozy and clean, we had no issues. The house is tucked away and feels private. We rented a pontoon from park marina for a day, its close by. I would recommend this place and would be happy to go back anytime.

Wedding weekend

The Lakehouse was perfect for my sisters and I to come for the weekend for a wedding. The house was really cute and comfortable! I would definitely stay there again. Very peaceful and quiet surroundings. We loved sitting outside on the deck. The host was always quick to reply to any questions. Fun weekend!

Lake Allatoona

Beautiful lake house on Lake Allatoona. We were in town for a baseball tournament at LakePoint Sports. House was 15 minutes from the field and allowed us time to unwind and relax between games. Would definitely stay here again!

Peaceful & Beautiful

This was a very nice place, tastefully decorated and comfortable! One afternoon a beautiful fox crossed right over the deck as we sat in the living room watching. It even paused on the stairway long enough for a photo shoot :)

Lovely weekend getaway

My family stayed here to be closer to a wedding venue and make a weekend getaway out of it. We all slept comfortable (5 adults and 1 child). The home is perfect and cozy. The outside is what won us over. We enjoyed our meals on the porch overlooking the lake. At night we hung out there too. And several times during the day we went down to the dock to soak up the sun, play with the great toys the host includes with the place, and we hung out there since there were plenty of chairs and a table to put snacks and stuff. We really hope to come back!

Get away with family

We stayed at the lake cabin for 3 days but that wasn't long enough. We were in Acworth to visit our son and attend his National Guard ceremony and since we were bringing grandparents we did not want to stay at a hotel. The lake house was perfect for all of us and we wish we had longer to enjoy the lake and area. We would definitely stay again!

Amazing Cabin. Can’t wait to return.

This property was absolutely perfect for our family of 5!! We didn’t allow our girls to bring friends, as this was a family trip. But it totally would have accommodated that as well!! We cooked breakfast. Lunch. Dinner. We loved that they had a few spices and condiments available (cuts down on the grocery bill if you love to cook like us). So enjoyed the outdoor fire pit for s’mores at the end of the evening!! We even rented a boat for 2 days and could easily dock at the house to break for lunch and relaxation!! The dock is amazing. Plenty of fun outdoor toys for the kids and comfortable seating for the adults!! Beds were comfy. Quiet and seculuded. Honestly, we couldn’t say more amazing things!! They have done a great job at keeping it simple. But providing what you need for a home away from home!!!

Perfect house for our baseball getaway

This house was perfect for our family's baseball getaway . The location was great. The house was so cute, clean and had everything we needed. The beds were so comfortable. We really enjoyed being on the water and took full advantage of the paddle boards and kayaks. Ashleigh was a great host and was super responsive and accommodating. We will absolutely stay here the next time we are in town for baseball. It is so easy to get to the parks and the nearby towns. Thank you for sharing your perfect home!

Great house!

This cabin is very close to Lakepointe. Nice & relaxing after hot days & nights at the ballpark. Boys loved fishing of the dock. Highly recommend this home!

Perfect for us!

I LOVED the decor and "feel" of the place. It's rustic but modern, charming but chic and "lake housey" without being too "farm housey". The beds were very comfortable and linens fresh. Someone with good common sense cleans the kitchen and leaves items in the fridge that make sense to be left (which is great and less wasteful). New, quality pots and pans were a nice surprise. If you cook a lot, bring good knives but everything else is there. Wifi provided ample juice for 3 teens plus me working occasionally (which was very nice and appreciated). Definitely plan on coming back again next summer!

Relaxing and comfortable

Plenty of room, gorgeous porch and lots of homey touches. We loved hanging out on the porch and watching the lake. The kids loved jumping off the dock and playing on the floating foam dock. We loved the secluded nook to watch the ducks and relax in the breeze.

Awesome Lakehouse Getaway

Great stay

If it had been so pricey we would stay every time we come to Atlanta which is very often. Only downfall to property is the tricky air conditioner and the steep stairs to water.

Perfect Little Lake Cabin

We had such a wonderful stay. The cabin is so very cute and nicely decorated. While there a a lot of steps down to the dock, it is well worth the walk (just try to remember everything you need). Loved the chairs down at the dock and there were many water toys to enjoy. The cove was so peaceful and privets and was perfect for swimming. The house being up in the hill did provide a beautiful view and lots of shade which helped keep the house cooler. We can’t wait to come back and spend longer.

Perfect Getaway to Lake Allatoona

We were traveling to Tennessee this week to visit friends and decided to stop for a few nights for a stay on this great little Lake Allatoona cottage. The weather was perfect and the house was exactly what we expected. Spent out mornings fishing and enjoying coffee on the dock, afternoons tubing on the lake and evenings relaxing on the back deck. Although we only had three, this cabin could easily accommodate a larger family (two adults and 5 kids). My oldest son loved the loft area for his bedroom. When comparing to other homes on the lake, keep in mind that this dock sits in a very quiet cove so very little rocking of the dock when boats go by - something that you will appreciate if you ever stay at a home on "big water". If you are looking for a very quiet, relaxing, and private Lake Allatoona getaway, it will be difficult to find a better one than this on the lake. Will definitely be coming back again!

Great stay at a great little lake house!

We had a very relaxing stay and really enjoyed the large deck and access to the lake. It was really nice to be able to use the kayak to get out on the lake for a bit as well. Eveything was clean and comfortable! Thank you for the wonderful accommodations!

Best Front Porch Ever

Absolutely perfect for myself and family. I spent most of my 5 days on the oversized swing. The porch is huge, plenty of room to visit and social distance. The beds were cozy and the decor like out of a magazine. The view from the house is beautiful. Host was quick to respond to any questions we had.
