I stayed on the property February, 2025 with my family. We really enjoyed the property. The property was cleaned and firm to stay with family. And the night view was really wonderful from the pier.I will definitely comeback soon.
This place is amazing and has a special place in our hearts we love it here every single thing is first class. Thank you Patrick for being the best host ever and helping to make my mom’s day on her 86th birthday! Awesomeness!!
The house was as expected and matched the pictures online. The dock is great for those wanting to fish and having it right out the door was great. Will definitely book again for another fishing trip. The owner was very responsive to our questions and when I reached out about how to work the thermostat (user error!) he called immediately to give us the instructions.
Great spot for fishing. House is good for small group. Good communications with Patrick. This is second time booking this house. First time in 2022 there was 2 green lights for night fishing. This time only 1 green light, the second one has been replaced with a small LED light. Hopefully owner will replace the second LED light with a green light. Overall great house for the weekend fishing trip.
We had a great time. The fishing was awesome!! We caught well over 100 fish in our three day stay. We caught all kinds of fish. Red fish, trouts, black drums, sting rays and cat fish. The bait shop is super close.
Smooth and pleasant stay, good communication with owner. Lots of hardwork and sacrifice goes into buying and maintaining a home like this. We appreciate the owner sharing it with us!
Stayed here 3 years ago and caught fish. Fishing was a little slower this time, but I still caught a red, speckled trout, flounder, and stingray. I’m not going to nickpick everything, but the place needs a little TLC!
Overall a great stay. House was nice and cold when we get there. House inside was very clean. Plenty of dishes and utensils inside. Easy to locate.
A few items we noticed but again very good stay.
First was walking the pier, it is use at your own risk, so we did with all kids in lifejackets. We did clean up trash left behing by others not much but it was there. Would loved to have access to water bucket or water hose on the end of the dock while fishing. Lights were awesome for night time use.
If you do catch fish, the freezer inside at the fridge does not work. We used the mini fridge for the freezer and luckily our fish filets did not go bad.
Water dispenser and ice dispenser seemed to work when it wanted to, not a big deal bc we had ice and water bottles.
Tv in master was broken, but Patrick knew so i was not worried of being charged bc of it.
I used my own laundry pods, didnt notice any there.
I would recommend bringing a cart to haul the fishing gear to and from the dock.
Overall very good stay for the price. Will rent again.
Father and I spend our bi-annual fishing trips down in the area. This place is definitely a bit more cleaner than most places we have stayed at. We don’t need too much as we’re used to roughing it from our Army days. The place was spacious for sure. AC worked fine and the view from the balcony is great! The bunk beds are in a small room connected to the master bedroom itself. We didn’t have a problem with it. The linens and towels were clean as well. We’ve been to rentals where they were never washed and pillow cases smelled like dried saliva. This place definitely had clean smelling linens. Some outdated pots, and pans, and utensils. But again we didn’t find it a problem. We used what was available. Patrick answered all questions and concerns we may have had. Communication was never an issue. He even came by to move the trash bin out to the front for collection. Fishing from the pier is the big plus for us. The green pier light came in handy. Timer had to be reset, but wasn’t a big inconvenience. I believe we we probably were there when the fishing wasn’t as active. We caught a few drums, croakers, whitings, catfish, piggy perch, and even an eel. But the highlight was the alligator gar.
The location is great. Nearby restaurants, dollar general, and gas stations for the things you may need. Bait shops are about 10-15 minutes out, but not an inconvenience. Would stay here again. Thanks Patrick!
We love this place my mom and I love to fish and this place is perfect. Clean comfortable and fully stocked with everything you need for your stay. The pier has handrails and lights for night fishing perfect for all ages! I highly recommend this property the host is amazing!
