Mains pressure water, AC and ceiling fans in every room, fully equipped modern kitchen with dishwasher, BBQ area, lock up remote double garage. Magnificent views from the fenced infinity pool. This house is surrounded by our beautiful tropical rainforest. Absolutely wonderful…

This proved to be the perfect location for our wedding anniversary. It was a beautiful home in a beautiful location. Check in and check out were easy, the home had everything you could need, it was a peaceful place and the pool and view were absolutely wonderful…

Good stay north of Mossman

We had a very good stay at the property which is located within a rural area to the north of Mossman. The house was spacious and clean and very good as a base to explore the area to the north of Cairns and into the Daintree.

Paradise in the cane fields

This is one of the most stunning locations I’ve stayed . Gary’s house is very comfortable and well appointed. He was a helpful host with great local knowledge. The pool is just amazing. That view….. ahhh !

Great location, quiet and private.

Beautiful, well equipped property in a quiet rainforest location with great views across the cane fields. Gary was a great host, meeting us on arrival to show us through the house and provide heaps on information on the area. The furniture and bed was comfortable and the kitchen was fully equipped. The pool was great. We stayed eight nights and would have liked to have stayed longer. It was a great location for accessing the Daintree, Cape Tribulation, Mossman Gorge and easy distance to Port Douglas.

Beautiful Views from Property

Beautiful Property, very clean and Gary is very friendly. The house has magnificent views from Swimming pool and well equipped in all aspects. In addition, if someone loves music, best place. All the rooms have beautiful views and kitchen is also well equipped with everything anyone need. Overall excellent experience of stay .

Lovely peaceful location but…..

Gary was a very warm welcoming host. He welcomed us on arrival. (This was a bit odd given that Covid compliance rules state access would be contactless.) We appreciate that he was doing his best to make us feel welcome & to show us the house. His property is very well located if you want to avoid the busyness of Port Douglas. The home is large & very clean. For health reasons we chose it as was advertised with airconditioning however all of the airconditioning units were ether broken or disconnected. This was disappointing. Instructions for the DVD player would have been appreciated as not all the TV channels worked & he has a large DVD collection. It did feel weird sleeping in Gary’s bed looking at all of his clothes in the open wardrobe. I left a list of items that I think would help others to be able to self cater more easily as we couldn’t get a dinner booking anywhere either in Mossman or Port Douglas due to the high demand & staff shortages & the closure of some local restaurants.

Beautiful property in rainforest setting.

We stayed here in June, to get a break from the Tassie winter. Very quiet, private, rural setting, adjacent to rainforest. The property is all on one level, with an open-plan approach, and 1950s-1960s vibe. Kidney shaped pool has a view to die for, out over the cane fields. Beds were very comfortable, and internet adequate (5-20 Mbps download). Location is great for Mossman Gorge, Daintree, Cape Tribulation, and Port Douglas. You're a little way from shops here, and the access road is a bit steep and rough, but Gary is a great host, and will help in absolutely any way he can. We will return!

Northern Hidden Gem

Our family stayed for 4 nights in June . Pool was fabulous and clean , kids swam everyday ( pool towels incl ) Property is tucked away , lovely and quiet but so convenient for all the exploring to be done in the Daintree, Mossman , Cape Tribulation and Port Douglas areas. Gary was lovely and friendly , a joy to meet and happy to pass on info for the area. The house was as stated , great kitchen , laundry , lounge and comfy bedrooms. We would definitely stay at this property again .

Incredibly relaxing

We had a great few days. The infinity pool and back yard is so tranquil. If you're looking for family friendly or quiet spot with friends, this is the place. Kitchen was well equipped.

Peaceful location spectacular views

Gary was very welcoming and provided us with all the information we needed to get the most out of our stay. His home is in a very peaceful, picturesque area that is still close to all cairns Port Douglas and the Daintree have to offer.
