Nice location

Great location on the harbor with sweeping views and a huge wrap-around deck. Many nice spots to sit inside and out and enjoy the views. House was spacious, everything working well, and comfortable furnishings (note the mattresses seemed good quality but were definitely firm). We did have 2 issues. The hot tub would only seem to go above mid-90s temp for a few hours in the evening, then drop back down by late evening until the next evening. As the hot tub was one of the main features that sold us on this rental, disappointed to not be able to fully enjoy it much of the day. Also, the front door had a pretty tricky lock/key that caused us to not be able to get in for a while after our arrival before getting some more instructions and was just a minor hassle the whole stay.

Girls Getaway

We had a fabulous weekend. The harbor was so quiet and the weather was perfect in January. We used the massive wrap around deck from sun up to sun down. So relaxing. The house had everything we needed and communication was perfect!

This property is beautiful and fit our family perfectly. Beds are comfortable, as are the couches. My only complaint is that there was a leak in the ceiling in the master bedroom when it rained, not enough forks for 8, no pot holders. We had an amazing long weekend and would recommend this property!

California Dreaming!

This is the home where great memories are made! Fantastic location, plenty of parking, amenities, ambiance, and relaxation. Beach, stores, marina, shops, all within reasonable walking distance. Bikes, kayaks, and paddle boards available for watersports, large beautiful fully stocked kitchen for meal prep and cooking, or simply eat takeout from a large selection of amazing restaurants nearby. A++!!!

Amazing Location - House needs lots of work

Pros. Location is pretty amazing. You are on the water and a wrap around deck is very cool. House is big and open. It was clean. Cons. The house is in need of maintenance - lots and lots of maintenance. The deck mentioned is really nice, but none of the chairs have cushions that are in decent condition. All are filthy, most ripped (some ripped from top to bottom). The bbq does work, but you must turn the gas line on and off with each use. The spa works too, but plan for 6-hours+ to heat it. And if you don't have two incredibly strong people to put the spa cover back on - you stand no chance. The metal that is supposed to assist in the lift is broken - appears to have been broken for some time. That's the situation with all the appliances. Fridge works, but the door doesn't close properly and you must push in 100% or it will stay open. Oven works, but takes a solid 15 mins to get to 350 degrees. Water quality is questionable - very cloudy (which is weird because there are two water filters in the garage). The TV has Roku, but a very old one and we couldn't figure out how to control the volume. We walked up to the TV to turn it up or down. We were also unlucky when the garage door stopped working. Had to pull the emergency lever to be able to manually lift it up. We asked for an early check-in (3pm was listed), but Evolve said no and added the listing did not guarantee early check-in. That was a bummer, but understand. We asked the owner for late check-out (10am was the listed check-out). He replied with a no, explaining he was going to arrive at the house after our departure and the cleaners needed the time (5-hours) to clean the house. In the same reply where he said no, he asked us to take out the trash cans to the street. Honestly, I wouldn't recommend this place until some serious improvements are made. I looked at historical negative posts and many of our cons were listed year ago.

We loved staying at this beautiful spacious home! Big windows, lots of light. Perfect waterfront location with wraparound deck, several seating areas, fire tables and a jacuzzi. Quiet neighborhood. Good vibes.

Amazing Waterfront Paradise

Can we rate it 10 STARS?? This place is AMAZING!!! Owner is great to deal with, and very responsive. This home is a 1 of a kind with tons of natural light, great views, and ideal location with a corner lot and wrap around deck. This is wonderful for days when it gets a little cool and breezy, you can take the entertaining around the corner on the deck and escape the wind. ZERO COMPLAINTS, just PRAISE! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Make sure to ask about all the “toys.”

An absolutely gorgeous home on the water!!!! We stay in Channel Islands Harbor often and this is by far the most amazing home we’ve been in. The home is immaculate, the owner goes out of his way to ensure you have a great experience, and the location cannot be beat!!!

Beautiful home for an amazing getaway.

What an amazing home with incredible views and the wonderful wrap around deck with all of the outdoor furniture. The wide open two-story windows provide expansive views of Channel Islands homes. The furnishings are beautiful. The sound system added an element of indescribability. An long old-world stone driveway leads up to a tastefully decorated Mediterranean home with iron gates, plants, and fountains leading to the beautiful double iron front doors. Upon opening the door, you are greeted with travertine stone floors and the expansive views. It's a very special home. Every bedroom has views of the water and are tastefully decorated. All of the materials used to build the home were first class; granite countertops and stonework throughout. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning in the future. Don't miss the air-hockey table and the hot tub!

Beautiful home, amazing host!

My friends and I had an amazing time here, on our first trip to the channel islands. The host is very responsive and answered any questions we had almost immediately. Check-in was a breeze, and the house is incredibly beautiful and clean. Our only regret was not renting the electric boat that is available! But even kayaking around the channel was really fun, and definitely a highlight of the trip. We will definitely be returning again!

AMAZING WATER PROPERTY!

Pictures don't do justice. This place is AMAZING! You don't want to leave the property once you get there. We had so much fun as a family here. We also took advantage of the Paddle boards and the Kayaks. Also being a corner property on the water, the views are priceless. I can't say enough about this place. We will be making this our ritual getaway home from now on. Thank you.
