Rivers Edge is a unique home set against a hill side over looking the San Juan river. The South Western views off of our private deck and the sunsets you will experience cannot be replaced, but become a memory. Our home offers you a spacious environment with comfortable accommodations to meet your families every need. Navajo State Park is but 10 miles away and offers boating and sport fishing. Our location is perfect for daily travels to special historic areas. Please look at the map to locate surrounding sites you may want to visit.

I stayed at this property a year ago and decided to book it again. My stay was great as this house has everything I needed to enjoy a week of fishing. The host is easy to get a hold of and addressed my minor requests in a timely manner. Will look to stay here again.

Decent Stay
The stay was good for what we needed. It smelled nice & had comfortable furnishings. The only problem was the amount of spiders in the house & on the outside. The house needs to be fumigated to get rid of all the spider nests. They also need to wash all the walls, take down the valances/curtains, & power wash the entire outside of the house to get rid of all the spider webs & nests. It has this great patio that is unusable because of it all being covered in spider webs. The wifi is also super sketchy. We either had 1 bar or no bars the whole trip. This was fine for us, but want to make others aware in case it matter's to them. We would like to stay here again, but really need the spiders taken care of.

Great place to stay
First time going with family to Navajo State Park. So happy we found this place to stay. BEAUTIFUL scenary around the house, very close to the State Park. Everything you need and more at the house. Felt like home away from home. Thank you for letting us enjoy a Father's Day vacation at your home. We will definitely be returning.

Great San Juan home to rent!
My father and I have been coming to fish the San Juan for over 20 years and this is the 2nd time we rented this house. It is comfortable, clean the centrally located. Would highly recommend for anybody to stay.

The house is a great place to stay for fishing the San Juan River. It’s not too far from quality waters and has access to the San Juan River. The house had all we needed and more. The host was always fast to respond on communication and it was a great experience!

Great place but can't say same about host
Great location with an awesome view but beware if you have to communicate with host, worst I've ever had from any host. Accused our party of damages but did not follow VRBO rules to report. Finally sent a request for money almost 4 weeks after check out (outside of VRBO) with no invoice or info on where to send the money. After that, would not respond to my request for a simple phone call. PS - I offered to pay the money request even though it did not go thru VRBO but never heard a word on where to send it. Bottom line, host only communicates when it's beneficial to them. 1 star totally due to dealing with unprofessional host.

Awesome place to stay.
We stayed for a week and loved every minute if it. River front, close to the Sports man's bar and store and as close as you can stay to lake Navajo without camping in the park. Love it and will recommend to all friends and family. We will be back.

Another great stay at "Fish the Great San Juan Quality Waters"
This is the 3rd or 4th stay here for a fly fishing trip with friends. The house is very accommodating for 3 or 4 people though it could hold a few more. We love this place as it gives us the comforts of home and kitchen! If you are tying up your flies or gear inside in preparation for hitting the river, you might bring an extra spotlight or two for the dining room table area to help brighten the room; old eyes need all the light they can get! There is one desk that is an excellent place for fly-tying.
