Family time

Nine family members stayed at this property and enjoyed a family reunion hosted by a family member who lives in Lewisville. Even though we spent most of our time at the host home, the family really enjoyed the rental - especially the pool table. All who stayed there agreed that it was much more spacious on the inside than it appears from curbside.

Nice place for a family

We have stayed here 3 times and have enjoyed the house. The beds are comfortable and there is plenty of room to spread out for a large family. The neighborhood is quiet and we enjoyed sitting out on the back deck watching the donkeys and the birds in the back yard. We were disappointed when we tried to use the outdoor grill. Last summer we had a cookout and the grill was great. This year the grill was unusable. The bottom of the grill was gone. The owners seem to be slowly updating the house (there were new hardwood floors in the upstairs bedrooms) and the mattresses are new. The floor in the kitchen was sticky and the cleaning crew needs to clean the floors and vaccum under beds. The owner did reach out to us to make sure everything was in order and to let us know that we could text him if we needed anything. The tv is nice and there is enough seating for our family to gather. Next time, we look forward to the next improvements! We would definitely recommend this house.

Good location and nice neighborhood

This property was nice to stay at. The neighborhood is beautiful! Dave was great at communication and answering questions! We enjoyed the home and hope to stay there next time we're in the area! (We do wish there were more televisions throughout the house. Other than that, it was great!)

Thanksgiving Family visit

We had a wonderful stay in this lovely, and spacious home over the Thanksgiving holiday. We were visiting family nearby who did not have enough bedrooms for our extended family . The home was inviting, well appointed and very comfortable. Nice touches with amenities were provided, plus this home has a pool table which was an extra bonus! Also, the beds were very comfortable. The house is located on a beautiful street and has a screened in porch overlooking a lovely pond in the back. The owner was very friendly and helpful, ready to answer any questions. I highly recommend staying in this lovely home. We hope to be back!

Wouldn't stay again

This is a spacious home in a beautiful area. The host was generally easy to reach and very helpful. The home is clean as far as dusting and vacuuming, but it hasn't had a deep cleaning in ages. Additionally, the carpet is badly stained. The kitchen drawers don't move properly (one likes to fall out when you open it), and the lazy susan cupboard pretty much doesn't open. The host did say they have plans to replace the carpet in the future. I booked this based on positive reviews, but I sure see something different. I hate writing negative reviews, but I also want other travelers to be informed.

Extra Large Space

Our two families had plenty of space! We had options for privacy, and there was room for everyone to gather together for meals and family games. The location was close enough to travel to Winston Salem and Greensboro for our daily activities.

Daughter's wedding May 2022

My husband, son and family that came from London, UK for our daughter's wedding which took place in Winston Salem. The house is in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood close to everything -restaurants, groceries, shopping places as stated in guest book. The kitchen was well stocked. We took children to Science museum at Old Salem and several days at the Tanglewood park. Dave was pleasant, helpful, prompt when we needed him. Above all, my family from London had a late flight back so Dave was able to work with us to extend late check-out time. We all relaxed and enjoyed this house. I recommend it. We will soon return!! Thank you for everything.

The property is in a lovely area. The owners were easily accessible and made every effort to accommodate our needs. There is some maintenance that could be done to enhance the property like storm door and fence repair. Overall, it provided everything we needed.

Pleasant experience

Jan/Feb 2022, we rented the house for a week to attend a family wedding. It's a large, clean property with a beautiful Lake/Preserve view from a spacious Patio, Family room, and Kitchen. Ample parking space, very safe neighborhood with friendly and accomodating surroundings. The decor throughout was nicely done. It's closed to shopping and dining but also distant enough from the noise. The owner was accessible and kept in contact once in a while to make sure about our comfort. I would recommend this property to anyone, and you won't be disappointed!

Nice, quiet, clean family house

The house had ample space for a large family gathering. The family room, living room, screened porch and pool room gave us enough space to spread out. The kitchen is fairly well equipped with plenty of dishes and silverware and pots and pans. The refrigerator is fairly new and holds plenty. There are 2 dining tables with 2 leaves each and 2 square tables on the screened porch. I think there were 6 outdoor chairs on the porch and 6 dining room chairs for the 2 indoor dining tables. We had to borrow some folding chairs for the kitchen table. The furniture and drapery treatments need to be replaced, but the house was clean and the beds were comfortable. All three bathrooms had shower/tub combinations. Paper goods were supplied as well as soap and shampoo. The house is located on a dead end street so there was little traffic. The house is located near to Lewisville, but a GPS is necessary to find the house. We enjoyed morning coffee on the screened in porch listening to the roosters crow and the donkey bray.

Nice, clean, quiet home

This was a great place for our family to stay and celebrate my mother's 94th birthday. There was plenty of room for all of us to spread out. The kitchen was pretty well equipped so we were able to grill outside and cook indoors. We brought in some folding chairs, but they had 2 nice dining room tables with 2 leaves each. There were also 2 square tables with outdoor chairs on the screened in porch. The house provided some paper towels, kleenex, toilet paper and hand soap as well as bath soap and shampoos. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds were very comfortable. Plenty of pillows. The living room and family room furniture needs to be updated. But, the house was very clean. The house is located on a dead end road, so it is very quiet. You definitely need a GPS to find the house. We had coffee on the screened in porch every morning. You could hear the roosters crow and the donkey bray in the distance. Very pleasant atmosphere.

Pleasant stay

Overall great experience. My friends and I enjoyed ourselves playing ping pong, pool, riding bikes and just binge watching TV. The way the house was set up made it so easy to split our group if they wanted to do something different! it was nice because those of us watching TV couldn't hear the group playing downstairs. Owner was extremely friendly and welcoming. Detailed house book has everything you need to know about the house which was a plus! Honestly, My friends and I had such a great time we are thinking of the next time we come back!

Family get-together

Our family came from the east coast and the west coast to have a long weekend together. The house worked well for us. Wished there was room darkening curtains in the bedrooms upstairs as the street lights shined in through the night. Also wished there was a TV in each bedroom and some comforable seating downstairs with the pool table other than the bar chairs. At checkin our code for the door didn't work but the Contacts we were given were very responsive and fixed the problem immediately. We had infants under 1 who are on the move so having the doors to be able to close off the main living rooms was a nice feature for us and also having large enough rooms for the Pack and plays was a win. The house served its purpose and was a nice location. We had a pleasant stay.

Lewisville long weekend

Property is an older house, but certainly adequate. Owner was very forthcoming with suggestions as to places to eat and things to do. We met the cleaning person who was also very helpful. The six of us had an enjoyable four days.

Be aware!

Disappointed from start viewing home, house was smaller than expected from pictures, dead bird on porch, freezer not working, nowhere to eat without going to town, glass door wouldn't lock, just not clean as for as grill, no back yard! Nice Glamour Shots of house!
