Clean and great location
We stayed here in July 2024. It was only 15min drive from Bridgetown airport. It’s right on Dover beach which was very convenient. Dover beach is fairly small so not too busy. The beach is a bit rocky on the left side, but more sandy on the right. We snorkelled on the left, if you go past the initial deeper section, it gets quite shallow around 2-3 feet with some coral and small fish. There’s a small grocery/convenience store 5min walk away called Dover marketplace. For more grocery selection there’s a Massy supermarket not too far away by car. The building is gated so only those w code can enter so security is very good, although I don’t think it’s necessary in Barbados. There’s a bunch of restaurants nearby, we went across the street to Kandybar couple of times and it was good value. We don’t recommend the Irie Jamaican restaurant close by however as it’s very expensive for poor quality food.
The apartment was nice and one of the cleaner places we’ve been to, it has good wifi, AC, fans, washer/dryer, and seemed renovated not too long ago. We didn’t use the pool much but there are 2 pools and often quite empty. The entire complex when we went was quite empty and I’d estimate only 10-15% occupancy which was nice.
Overall we would highly recommend this place with a caveat… The one bedroom facing the street has balcony doors that has vented slats with a screen that doesn’t seal out noise. There’s a rooster in the area that crows at all hours of night. Bring earplugs.
