Le Grand Morvan: romantic familyhouse in national park Morvan

Le Grand Morvan is an authentic French holiday home located in the Burgundian nature park Morvan. It is not called Grand for nothing: a spacious living room with fireplace, a spacious kitchen with a large table with 8 chairs and on the first floor three spacious bedrooms. In short, no lack of space. The landlords have arranged the nature house as completely as possible. In the living room there is a TV with satellite reception and a closet full of games. The heating takes place through a fireplace and through petrol heaters. The wood for the stove is taken out of our own forest, which is located at the back of the nature house. The kitchen is well equipped with cooking utensils and a basic stock with coffee / tea / sugar / spices etcetera ensures that it is not a disaster if you have forgotten at the supermarket.

In the Grand Morvan it is great to sleep: the Morvan has no highways and traffic noise is practically non-existent. There is also no light pollution and it is just 'natural' dark at night. Waking up is also a privilege. You are in the middle of nature and awakened by the cheerful whistle of many different birds. Also with the sound of softly grazing Charolais cows (from the neighbor) it is wonderful to wake up. The chickens, geese and ducks of the neighbors also often visit. The site is completely fenced so that uninvited visits of unfaithful friends such as donkeys, cows, sheep and goats from the neighbors is not possible.
