Within walking distance, by bike or car you can reach the tranquil town of Gransee with its historic town center, surrounded by the old city wall from the Middle Ages. The city with its small shops, the Ruppiner Tor, the Luis Monument, the old monastery, church, powder tower, local museum, restaurants and cafes invite you to stroll.
The Geronsee in picturesque nature is only 2 km away.
Explore the city, the bike or the surrounding hiking trails during the day and then relax with a cozy dinner on the in-house terrace with candlelight and an undisturbed view of the sunset. After sunset you can enjoy the clear view of the starry sky, completely undisturbed by city lights. In mid-August with the many falling stars, here is the time for wishes, dreams and romance ... ;O)

This holiday region on the edge of the Meklenburg Lake District, approx. 145 km from the Baltic Sea beach, offers you many different leisure activities in summer and winter.
The region has a solid, newly created network of trails for hiking and biking through picturesque nature and lovingly restored rural romance.

For a day trip, a detour to the Baltic Sea is worthwhile, reachable with the Regionalexpress RE5 (approx. 2.5 hours Travel time to Stralsund) from Gransee train station or by car via the B96 (approx. 2.5 hours Drive).
Oranienburg can be reached by train RE5 in 20 minutes. and Berlin Gesundbrunnen in 40 min.
