About this property

1200 sq ft cottage located downtown in quiet residential area in historic Railroad District . 2 blocks to Shakespeare Festival and 92 acre Lithia park with walking, hiking ,playground and year round Ashland creek. One block to shopping, dining and Varsity movie theater. Walking distance to Southern Oregon University . Our cottage has 2 bedrooms and 1 bath with double sink. One bedroom has king bed, 2nd bedroom has two twin beds. Kitchen fully equipped. Washer/Dryer, wireless internet, 2TVs one with built in DVD, Apple TV with Netflix.
Outside area is a beautiful large private courtyard with tables, chairs, propane fire-pit with comfortable seating , a propane barbecue and a private hot tub spa just for your use. Access to 2nd street through front courtyard gate entrance.
Private off street parking with easy access to back entrance of cottage. Park your car and leave it, easy walking to downtown ,theaters and grocery stores. Electric outlet in guest parking area. Free EV charging station in City of Ashland public parking lot one block away. City bus stop across street serves Medford, Jacksonville areas.
Our property has only one rental. Owner occupies the top floor apartment. Owners have own private outdoor spaces so your outdoor area is never shared.

Fabulous cottage

Stacy’s cottage was just lovely, and so well located. Kitchen well equipped. Little gas fireplace so nice on cool nights. She even provided us with cushions to take to the theater.

Perfect in Every Way

We really enjoyed staying at Stacy's 2nd Street Cottage. It was close to the plays, grocery shopping, the center of town, and the main road to the freeway. The cottage had everything we needed including a lovely area for outside eating.

Lovely home in perfect neighborhood

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Stacy’s cottage. Stacy is a wonderful host and her place is in the perfect location for exploring Ashland. We walked easily to restaurants, Lithia park, shops, etc.

Great central location

We chose this home because of the location to downtown and being able to walk everywhere. It didn't disappoint. Stacy was great to work with, the cottage was very clean and had everything we needed. Hot tub is newer and was great. Stacy lives upstairs but we rarely heard her or the other neighbors even though its close quarters on all sides. We recommend Stacy's cottage especially if you like be within walking distance to all the shops and restaurants, Ashland is such a great foodie town.

Clean and convenient

Directions and check in were easy. The property is within walking distance of many Ashland shops, restaurants and activities. The cottage is very spacious for two people, with two bedrooms, living area, and bathroom. There are also washer and dryer, and well equipped kitchen. There's a fire pit and hot tub in the backyard patio. We enjoyed our brief visit to the Ashland area and hope to return again in the future.

Wonderful place to stay.

We've stayed at Stacy's several times over the past decade and it's one of our favorite places to stay in Ashland. Comfortable, clean, spacious and all the amenities one can want. We like that the master bedroom has a king bed. We don't always use the hot-tub but we like that it's there if we want. The location is perfect -> two blocks from the Co-op, two blocks from some of our favorite restaurants and only a couple blocks further to the plaza, OSF, Lithia park, etc.

Perfect place for OSC!

Great accommodations - just the right size for our family of 4. Perfect location for wandering around downtown and seeing plays. We really enjoyed the outdoor space, the hot tub, fountain, and quiet area. The seat pads and umbrellas for the Elizabethan Theater were a very nice touch, especially since it was the first rainy day of the year!

A Charming Cottage

Perfect Location (and Hot Tub!)

Stacy’s cottage is perfectly located to drive in, park and enjoy downtown Ashland, the OSF theaters and local restaurants. My mom, sister and I really enjoyed the hot tub in the cool mornings and the AC in the hot (and unfortunately smoky due to the Rum Creek Fire) afternoons. We made use of the well appointed kitchen for several meals and also got takeout from several conveniently located restaurants. We loved how quiet the neighborhood was at night and how the floorboards never creaked! Stacy’s instructions were easy to understand, and she was extremely responsive during our stay. She even had cushions and blankets to borrow for the outdoor theater, if needed. We hope to stay here again!

We so enjoyed our stay! The apartment is so well-appointed- you’ve literally thought of everything! We particularly appreciated the cushions provided for the outdoor theatre seats and the gorgeous courtyard at the apartment. We spent our mornings and late afternoons chatting out there under the shade umbrella smelling the jasmine flowers. Thanks for a wonderfully welcoming space.

The best location in town quiet and easy stroll to town ,theaters, Lithia Park and University. Great off street parking. Beautiful private courtyard with comfy seating. Spacious comfortable one level 1200 sq ft home. Only one rental on property, owners have own private outdoor areas so yours is never shared. City bus stop across street that offers service to Medford, Jacksonville area.

What makes this property unique

Large private outdoor courtyard fully furnished for dining or just relaxing by outdoor fountain or hot tub . Favorite activity for most of our guests on a cool evening is sitting on sofas around firepit enjoying a glass of wine or favorite drink.
