About this property
This beautiful cottage is located in the quiet area on Skovmose beach.
This beautiful cottage is located in the quiet area on Skovmose beach.
The clear and clean waters of the Baltic Sea and the family-friendly beach are only a few minutes walk from the house. The well-equipped kitchen is in open connection with the dining area and the living room. Here there is a nice wood stove that can be used on cool days and evenings. The house has two bathrooms, one of which has a sauna and a jacuzzi. Here you can let the bubbling water massage your muscles after the day's activities. Everywhere in the house you can use the wireless internet connection. On the large property there is plenty of space for games and ball games for small and large guests.
On the nearby Kegnæs peninsula there are also excellent beaches, one of which is not far away. Here you can enjoy beach life at any time of the year, whether you want to soak up the sun in the undisturbed dune cups, listen to the calming waves or let the kids explore the sand for shells and beautiful rocks along the child-friendly beach. There are also great fishing opportunities along the coast. Als offers a variety of historical memories and attractions in a small area, including some of Denmark's most famous castles and mills. For example, visit Augustenborg Castle, built in the 1770s. It now houses an exhibition about the dramatic history of the castle and the ducal family. The castle also includes a beautiful castle park and a very nice castle church, which is open to visitors.
Sønderborg is home to Sønderborg Castle, which today houses a museum with several exhibitions about the turbulent history of Sønderjylland under Danish-German rule. Sønderborg also has a cozy harbor environment with sailing ships and restaurants along the waterfront.
