This is an awesome one bedroom one bath condo with a large gulf side balcony! As soon as you step inside, you will instantly feel at home on the beach. With bright tropical details throughout, this is a condo that you and your family will want to come back to year after year!
This newly decorated, privately owned, condominium is equipped with every comfort and convenience you would expect and deserve. The kitchen is fully equipped and features granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances and full-size pantry. The kitchen table seats four with beautiful bamboo bar stools at the kitchen bar. There is plenty of seating for everyone in the living room with comfortable furniture. The condo also features a new flat screen TV, DVD and stereo. You will have spectacular views of the Gulf of Mexico from the balcony that looks directly over the luxurious pool which features a water fall. Appliances include cordless phones, dishwasher, microwave, stove and cook top, washer/dryer, coffee maker, toaster, blender, and all of the cookware you could ever need.

The bedroom features a KING sized bed with an exceptional wicker headboard and a matching night stand and dresser. The tropical green theme throughout will make you feel at the beach without even leaving the bed. The kids will LOVE the hallway- with bunk beds, multi-colored fish and crab wall art, and a surfboard shaped chalkboard, the kiddos will claim this fun space for themselves! As a guest of the Indies Condominium, you are welcome to enjoy the heated pool, hot tub, kiddie pool, fitness center, grilling area, rooftop terrace with misting stations, and the best view on the island!

Don't forget to tour the historic Fort Morgan just a mile down the road. Tacky Jacks is just across the road for fresh seafood. Book a fishing charter or a sightseeing tour at the marina beside Tacky Jacks. Sassy Bass is just about five miles down the road. For the golf enthusiast, Kiva Dunes is a short drive away.
$1 from each reservation made in Fort Morgan will be donated to the Historic Fort Morgan!
One GRC (Guest Registration Certificate) is included in the price quote. If you need a second one you can purchase it from the guard.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location of the condo is great. The view from the balcony is beautiful and the furniture outside is very nice. The check in/check out process is very smooth. The living room furniture is very worn and very dirty. One of the chairs is broken. The floors in the entire condo were very dirty. The description of the condo says it sleeps six, but that doesn’t seem possible. The bunks are tiny and were very uncomfortable for our teenager.

great unit with a great view

We stayed for a few days in May of 2024. The unit was clean and well appointed. The beach is a short walk away and is beautiful. The rooftop patio give an even better view. We will certainly return.

Family trip

The condo is nice, the view while washing dishes was nice! The floors need to be scrubbed and the mop if that’s what is used to mop the floors needs to be trashed and a new one bought! There should be 2 vobs. The bedroom needs blackout curtains since they have a light right outside the window. The dresser is too much takes away space to walk! Loved the bunk beds, my 17 yo and 18yo slept just fine on them! The door to bathroom sucked we hated that sliding one! The room has a very nice balcony we were able to sit on it during the storms and just enjoy! The downside is the pool noise was LOUD! Someone was smoking pot A LOT off their balcony so we would have to go in. Plenty of parking! Grills were nice. We will be back!! Just maybe go higher up!!

The only issues we had was the Fobs for the pool and top of the roof entry. Those did not work at all ever! Other guests had to let us in. I would recommend a new process for that cause when you have small children and your arms loaded and the key fob won’t work it is very frustrating. However, it is a wonderful place to stay.

Reviewer Comments: This was our first time renting a condo in FtM, even though we have visited the area for over 25 years now. We have always stayed at a house on the beach, but we wanted to try a less expensive route for our "spur of the moment--birthday--last trip before school starts" trip! The condo was very nice. The noise from the pool directly below the house was a negative in my husband and I's opinion, but it may not bother others. (We live in a very secluded rural area and are used to no people/quiet.) It definitely has a hotel (not home) feel, but it was a great stay for my husband and I. The description was 6 could sleep, but it would definitely not be 6 adults! The 2 bunk beds in the hall are for very small children only. The inside furniture was a little worn and dirty, but overall effective for our stay. We loved the balcony furniture!

Old and smelly furniture

The furniture was old, wore out, and smelled. The throw pillows smelled like dirty feet and the curtains in the living room and bedroom were water stained. The closet doors didn't have an anchor on the floor and just swung when you tried to move them. The swimming pool was not heated and was ice cold and the hot tub was really hot, more than likely over the 104 degrees that it's supposed to be. I don't recommend this unit to anyone until improvements are made.

All of the cushions smelled like body odor. It took a while to figure out. It came off on our clothes so we couldn't sit on the sofa, two chairs or the dining chairs. One of the dining chairs had black mildew on it. The pillow shams in the master bedroom smelled like body odor as well. We pulled out the fold out sofa and sat on that mattress since it didn't smell. We ended up placing everything that had B.O. on the balcony close to the sliding door so that we could enjoy our stay. Otherwise, we had a good stay.

I was told a work order for on call maintenance was requested. No one came that evening. Did not enjoy my first night of vacation. Next morning I went to area where I could call rental company. She sent maintenance man. He got me connected to next door's wifi. Was told that the next day there was a repair man coming to install new wifi. Was disturbed on next day for service and maintenance man to install new wifi. New wifi worked.This problem should have been reported to me before my arrival. I would have perferred to wait and come when conditions were better in this unit. I could not use my cell phone nor watch Television until next day.

Great place to stay!

Great condo, plenty of room for my family of 6! Short walk to beach and loved the pool. Walked to Tacky Jacks across the street. Enjoyed Fort Morgan Historic Site down the room and took the ferry to Dauphin Island and enjoyed that beach as well. It was close to Gulf Shores and Orange Beach. We all had a great time!
