Featuring 1 King Bedroom suite with in room romantic jacuzzi tub and our special 18 foot octagon rain shower Chalet D'Amour is a favorite for Honeymooners and those looking for a special getaway. The 2nd bedroom sleeps 4 with a queen over queen bunk bed. You will never get bored given you have High speed wireless internet, pool table, foosball table and a hot tub on the deck are standard. A 28 foot center gas fireplace welcomes you and an over sized kitchen, Gas Grill on the Deck finishes off this cabin - Yeah!

Great vacation stay!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a great rental. It had everything we needed for our 3 day stay. The beds are really comfortable and we liked the hot tub, pool table, and streaming services for family movie night. It was spacious for our family of four. The area is close to everything without being right in the middle of the chaos of the city. The road is very winding to get to the cabin so be mindful of that. The only inconvenient part was our phones not working for calls and having to be on WiFi for internet usage-we have AT&T. They do have a landline though if you need to make calls. The rental company was very helpful and so easy to deal with. Would definitely go through them again.

Reviewer Comments: We loved our stay in Chalet D’amour , the place was exactly as you see it in the pictures, actually the place is bigger and has lots of space. The tower shower was amazing. The play room was my son’s favorite part of the cabin, also the hot tub, I would recommend to everyone. The only thing that I don’t liked to much was the roads to get there , it’s a two way little road with to many curves, the town is not to far, but you have to drive slow and with extra careful, so make sure you got all you need in the cabin to avoid additional trips to the town specially at night.

The beds were comfortable and the hot tub was just the thing after a day of hiking. This location is nice if you are going to the East side of the Smokeys away from the main entrance like we did for hikes. The bedrooms downstairs were difficult to get the correct temperature when it was cold outside though.

Great Family Getaway

The rain shower was awesome and there's a great view from the hot tub outside. I highly recommend Chalet D'Amour to anyone looking to get away to a comfortable, clean, and fun property.

Great All Around Except Shower Situation

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Everything was great and as expected but the shower situation was not good. First, master bedroom smelled of mildew that might be permiating into the rest of the space. Then we went to shower and had no shampoo despite toiletries being provided so we had to drive 30 mins to the grocery and back to get it. And again, the shower was so spacious and nice but just gross. It is like 12 feet tall so probably no one is able to clean that far up so it just mildews. The rain showerhead seems way too high so it is not pleasant. The tile at the top needs to be removed and a lower ceiling put in where it can be cleaned. The place was super nice but the shower cancelled a lot of it out. Hot tub, pool table, foosball, wet bar with fridge on lower level, fairly secluded. 4-5 star across the board if not for the shower.

Great Stay Chalet D’Amour

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I booked this for a wedding I was attending. We got to the cabin after dark. There is virtually no lighting on the roads and it was incredibly hard to see the cabin signs. Our cabin was the last in the row. Parking was on a gravel hill. There was a small concrete pad at the base of the ramp to the cabin. If you tripped you would've fallen down the hill and broken your neck. There was some kind of access panel in the ground whose cover was broken. Dangerous tripping hazard. They were doing work on the cabin next to ours. The tarp was not secured and blew all over the parking area. We had a lovely view of a dumpster and port a potty when we walked out the front door. Indoor carpet was frayed. The interior was dated and needed some tlc (new caulking in the shower, etc.)

Reviewer Comments: The interior of the property was nice but it was very disappointing to have men working on constructing a new property directly next door. This trip to Gatlinbirg was for business, and I decided to bring my family (wife and 2 children) along to enjoy Gatlinburg. Unfortunately, my family could not enjoy the hot tub as the construction workers were walking around the exterior of the property. We were very disappointed. The least the property management team could have done was postpone construction during our stay.

Honeymoon done right

This property was beautiful and secluded with lots of wildlife, we even had a bear visit late one night! Tons of turkeys and an awesome view from the hot tub.
