The country house is located in Vinci in the hills of the Montalbano mountain chain, in the birthplace of Leonardo da Vinci. It is surrounded by olive groves and vineyards.

The typically Tuscan country house made of stone, whose origins go back to the year 1500, was completely restored with a great deal of dedication, in order to preserve its authenticity. It is divided into two independent holiday apartments, separated from each other by two rooms used as a reception. The holiday apartments are accessible from opposite sides of a forecourt. The house affords wide panoramic views over San Miniato and the hills covered with olive groves and vineyards.

Where there was once a mill race used as a water source for powering the mill, the pool for communal use is now being built. The site is completely fenced in. From the automatic entrance gate to the site, a path leads to the forecourt in front of the country house. The forecourt provides a communal area with a pergola and a table tennis table, as well as parking spaces for the holiday guests. The words ‘wildly romantic’ describe this property perfectly. The owner of the organic farm lives in a historic mill at the confluence of two wild streams. Around 9 hectares of forest and land for cultivating organic olive oil and wine surround the property and can be explored by guests.

The property represents an ideal starting point for ecotourism and for all those who would like to visit Florence and the most beautiful Tuscan cities, before returning to the beautiful and tranquil setting of the country house in the evening. The whole area is steeped in history: you can visit, free of charge, the house where Leonardo da Vinci was born, as well as the “Museo Leonardiano” (Leonardo da Vinci Museum).

The spacious and light holiday apartment is spread across two floors and provides a living room, kitchen, three bedrooms and three bathrooms. On the ground floor there is an entrance area with stone stairs up to the first floor, the living room, the kitchen and one of the bedrooms. The other two bedrooms are on the first floor. All the bedrooms have a double bed and their own bathroom. The living room with a sofa bed and a fireplace is ideal for cosy evenings. The dining room for six people is the centrepiece of the large kitchen. The kitchen unit will delight all cooking enthusiasts and provides a fridge with freezer compartment, a dishwasher and a 90cm-wide gas stove with six rings. On the first floor, the first bedroom is furnished with a double bed, table, cupboard and an additional pull-out single bed, as well as affording a panoramic view from two windows, The second bedroom has a double bed, dresser, trunk, desk, television and walk-in wardrobe.

In front of the holiday apartment there is a terrace area for the exclusive use of guests, with a table, chairs and an awning providing shade. The apartment also has its own garden with two hammocks, deckchairs and a barbecue, to make your holiday experience complete. From the kitchen you can access the forecourt of the country house.
