The town has a cozy harbor and several places offer views of Funen. Take advantage of the many beautiful hiking and biking trails laid out in nature. Visit the market town of Christiansfeld, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
For cake lovers Christiansfeld is also worth a trip, because the town is famous for its delicious gingerbread. Not far from Hejlsminde is the beautiful nature area Skamlingsbanken.
