This beautifully appointed, former Bed & Breakfast features 4 bedrooms and 4.5 baths on 4+ acres - located on Mount St. Helena in Calistoga. Boutique small production winemakers Knighton Family Vineyard and Jericho Canyon are our neighbors on the historic Old Lawley Toll Road. Chateau Montelena and Envy wineries as well as the Old Faithful Geiser of California are only 5 minutes away on Tubbs Lane. Less than 10 minutes to downtown.

Located on a historic wagon road that led to the old mining town of Silverado in the 1800's, our home features natural mountain spring water (no sulfur smell which is typical in/around Calistoga due this being a very active geothermal area).

On- demand hot water heater ensures that no one in a large party will need to take cold showers!

Bedroom 2 - The Treehouse: this is the master bedroom. King bed, ensuite bathroom w/ 2 sinks. Amazing views of Mt St Helena summit. IMPORTANT NOTE: This room does not have window treatments to allow for full appreciation of the amazing views. Eye masks are provided.

Bedroom 3 - The Wine Cellar: King bed (upgraded from Queen in 2021), ensuite bathroom with natural stone shower. Wood burning fireplace and kitchenette in room, sliders to outdoor seating area. Separate ductless air conditioner dedicated to this room. NOTE: Use of fireplace is only allowed during rainy season due to wildfire risk.

Bedroom 4 - The Foothills Den: Queen sized custom Murphy bed (Simmons Beauty Rest mattress- same as Westin Hotel "Heavenly Bed"). Access to full bath across hallway. Sliders to back deck seating area, beautiful views of the foothills. 42" LCD TV.

Designer kitchen featuring a 6 burner Thermador pro range (gas cooktop, electric oven), Porcher farmhouse sink, plenty of prep space on island. Sliders to front deck allow for easy access to Weber gas grill.

Large dining room table seats 8, also seating for 8+ on front deck.

Living room is large with plenty of seating- large sofa and 2 large side chairs. 43” Sony Bravia HD TV (Dish network), DVD player; wood burning stove (Ecologs provided)

Family wine tasting

My husband and I stayed here with our three adult children and their spouses. The first night Chef Sean prepared a delicious meal for us - I would highly recommend! We were out in the mornings to mid-afternoon with wine tastings and lunch and upon return we really enjoyed grilling and hanging out on the front and back decks, as the view from both was equally amazing. The home was beautiful and contained every amenity. On our last night, we ate at Mangia Mi in Calistoga and enjoyd a wide selection of very tasty southern Italian food. This place was perfect for the 8 of us as we enjoyed the treats Napa Valley has to offer. Thank you, Tina, for providing us with such a perfect place to stay!

Awesome House and Location

This was a 25th anniversary trip for my wife and I that we enjoyed with some family. The house was fantastic with awesome views and was exactly what we were looking for as it is a short distance from town but with an out in the country feel. Views of the mountains was great with stunning sunrises and sunsets. The house was fully stocked with anything you might need, the bedrooms were perfect with each having their own temperature control and the decks were great for sitting and enjoying the great weather and socializing. We are already talking about coming back and will definitely look to stay at this property again.

Beautiful Napa Home With All the Comforts of Home

We were an adult group of 8 and the home was the perfect fit. Two decks with beautiful views. A large dining table fit us all. The host provided very detailed instructions about the home as well as instructions with pictures on how to find the property. A little tricky but we didn't miss any turns. Fully stocked kitchen to include spices and condiments. The host provided a great list of ideas to visit during our stay and we definitely checked a few of them out. The best recommendation was for a personal chef whom we employed for our last night. The perfect ending to our very lovely trip in Napa. Highly recommend this home.

Friends birthday weekend

The location is beautiful. All essentials were stocked in the house including toiletries, kitchen spices/appliances etc. Beds were extremely comfortable and nice linens. The game room included a pool table and was a lot of fun. We enjoyed the outdoor grill and the views were fabulous. We took lovely morning walks down road. The host provided a lovely welcome basket which was a very nice touch and thoughtful. Also, ahead of our stay, Tina sent several recommendations for dinners, drivers, and attractions. We would for sure return!!

Great weekend getaway in wine country

This house was perfect for a long weekend getaway in wine country. We had 4 couples and this house fit us perfectly. Each room was unique and beautifully decorated. Fabulous Napa house

This was just a spectacular location and a super comfortable house with great decks and kitchen. We really enjoyed the house hanging out before and after wine tastings in the surrounding area. Tina was very helpful and the house is full of personal touches that make it special.

Amazing!

Annual Wine Trip

Our party of seven including my in-laws, my three adult children, my spouse and I all stayed at this property for 5 nights in August 2023. The house is absolutely amazing- Tina has thought of every detail to make sure you have everything you need and are comfortable. Tina was so easy to work with and commutative throughout. The house itself is situated along a windy road up on a mountain and there are two decks furnished with comfortable seating to take advantage of the view. The inside of the house is beautifully decorated- plenty of space to eat at the 10 person dining table inside or on the front deck. High end appliances in the kitchen as well as any spice or cooking staple you could want. There is a king bedroom with bath on the main floor as well as a study with a pull down Murphy bed. There’s an en-suite queen in the upstairs loft and a king with bathroom downstairs. Also a gameroom downstairs with a comfy couch. It was a good base for our wine tasting fun and we appreciated all of the info about the area that was in the house. Would not hesitate to stay here again!

Wonderful stay in Calistoga

We went with two couples and had the best time! The property is in an amazing location with unbeatable views! The kitchen was well stocked and we utilized it for breakfast and dinner. The property was well kept and secure. The drive into Calistoga is about 10 min so you are close to many local adventures! Highly recommend and we hope to make it back again!

Nice rustic property high in the hills above Calistoga. Views from everywhere in the house and 2 great outdoor deck spaces. Host is very easy to work with and had great communication. Everything was as described and had no problems with anything. We were able to comfortably have 4 couples stay for 4 days and prepared several meals for us all in the well stocked kitchen. Highly recommend!

Perfect for any occasion

We visited wine country for my husband’s 50th birthday. The Sampath’s home was perfect! The bedrooms and bathrooms are comfortable and well furnished, the kitchen is extremely well stocked, views are spectacular, and the location was ideal for all the wineries we planned to visit. Amazing Trip!

I can’t say enough great things about this home and it’s owner. You know things go well when you don’t need to contact the owner for a single thing. The views are simply amazing. The house is so well appointed. We did have Chef Sean come and make our party dinner one night and it was worth every penny! I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Oh and use Google maps to get to the house. Between Google maps and Tina’s directions it’s very hard to miss!

We love the history of Old Lawley Toll Road, a wagon trail to the old mining town of Silverado (made famous in Robert Louis Stephenson's The Silverado Squatters.) Unlike other parts of Calistoga, our home features pure mountain spring water - no sulfur smell!
