Very conveniently located, the North Sea or the Eider-Treene-Sorge area can be reached in under 30 minutes. Büsum or St.Peter-Ording as well as the North Frisian Islands are all day trip a worthwhile destination, from Büsum you can take the Helgoland ferry.

The rural area is very suitable for longer bike rides, starting directly from the house, field paths and roads with little traffic.
In Heide there are many attractions and opportunities, the largest marketplace in Germany and the attached pedestrian zone are worth a visit.
