Great space and close to crystal
The location was perfect in a small neighborhood with an easy drive to crystal. 3 good bedrooms and there were two lofts where more people could have slept. Would have been nice to know the washer wasn’t working and also the wifi does not work. Would stay there again if those were fixed.

A frame was great, kids really liked the bunk loft and the fireplace. Only a 30 minute drive to Crystal so we had more time to ski.

Cozy place
Ied recommend keeping it under 8 and if you do youll stay comfy and satisfied. Your under 40 mins away from everything youed care about and theres a nearby general store that has anything on short notice. The one thing i would love is some kind of covering for the front porch. We had a solution but being Washington' it rained the whole time so if we didnt have a cover our selfs we would have been limited with our outside access. Over all its perfect for the size location and price

The house was great overall It was really hot when we arrived, and it took until morning to cool it off even with all the windows open We were unable to use the loft bed due to it being so warm up there Some fans would be nice in the rooms Otherwise, it was great- great location and it had the rooms and space that we needed for my 4 kids and I Cozy little cabin

Nice cozy place
Very nice chalet near Mount Rainier and Crystal Mtn. The photos don't really tell how roomy it is here. It's on a quiet cul de sac and if you like nature, short walk to the river and lots of elk around to view. Pleasant well maintained neighborhood too, to walk around and stretch the legs. Everything you need for meal preparation is available inside. No cable or satellite which worked out well. Can actually have conversations for a change. Owner was prompt with responses to questions.

Close to Crystal Mountain!
Winter vacation/multiple ski days at Crystal, we wanted a place close by, pet friendly, and a kitchen so we can cook meals.Pros: 30 min. away from Crystal Mountain; ample space for family of 3 and a dog; kitchen and bathroom supplies were ample; for a pet-friendly place, the house didn't smell; quiet neighborhood; host was responsive. There were a lot of dog poop on the yard in between cabin and house next door & on driveway. We picked up after our dog but kept seeing other poop. Had to constantly watch where we walk. The house had everything we can think of during a cabin vacation except emergency supplies. Our first full day, there was a power outage (not sure what time power went out). Fortunately, we were at Crystal most of the day. We came back to the cabin and heard generators from the other houses. Unfortunately, the cabin didn't have a generator but at least we had heat from the gas stove fireplace in the living room. The one flashlight we found didn't work. Called the host and was told there were no candles nor any other light source. Ended up splurging on a couple of lanterns and butane stove from nearby convenient stores. Got to shower up that night but was worried because the house had electric water heater and we weren't sure how long the power outage was going to last. Glad to discover the power was on the next morning and it remained on the rest of our stay. Also, the host refunded us for half of the cost of the emergency supplies we bought.

Cozy rustic cabin in the woods
This cabin is the perfect place to stay for a ski vacation at Crystal or a quiet getaway at Mount Rainier. As others have said, the cabin is rustic, but we thought that only added to its charm. It is just as advertised/pictured, well in fact, it is much more adorable in person than the photos show. Plenty of places to sleep and the beds/linens were so comfy. The cabin was clean and well appointed with everything we needed. Owners were friendly and quick to respond. The neighborhood is so quiet, peaceful, and private. SO much better and cheaper than staying at the base of Crystal. The only "con" I would say about this place is it may not be the best choice if you have toddlers as there is a hot fireplace in the living room and a steep spiral staircase. For older children, however, it is awesome because of the lofts with ladders and many games/movies provided. Overall perfect stay and we would love to visit here again.

Cabin in need of a little TLC.
This little cabin is in need of some TLC. The layout is quaint and rustic but is a cute A-frame cabin with a surprising 3 bedrooms plus a loft for the kids accessed via ladder. It was clean, and the beds were comfortable and linens were all in good condition. There is a TV and WiFi which was nice to have. However, we arrived to a dark, ice cold house. With only a small gas fireplace and wall heaters in each room it took us almost 24 hours to heat the cabin. There were a few additional space heaters but that’s didn’t seem to help speed up the heating. It would have been nice for someone to turn on the heat and a few lights prior to our arrival. Almost all the dishes were dirty upon our arrival, most of the glasses/cups were cracked and most of the pots and pans and baking sheets were in such bad shape they were unusable and should be thrown away. There is no dishwasher and very limited counter space to set dry dishes. The carpet has been ripped and then duck-taped in several places. One of the wall heater units was broken and a couple lights were out in the house. The cabin is overdue for new carpets, and all new glasses and pots and pans and should also have baseboard trim repaired where it is falling down. Other than these issues it is a cute cabin with more space than you’d expect. There is no mud room but because of all the bedrooms we were able to keep all our ski stuff in one room and out of the way from foot traffic through the house.

A frame getaway
We had a nice stay. We saw elk moving thru in the morning. However, it is in a development with neighbors close by. There is an easy access to the White River. The cabin itself needs some TLC. There were burnt out lights throughout. As well as broken fixtures . The carpet in the downstairs bedroom was held down with duct tape. Most of the bedrooms were up the spiral stairs. Both of the bathrooms were downstairs. There is no dishwasher so prepare to wash dishes by hand. There were multiple cobwebs throughout. It is more suited for a ski getaway than a family trip. We did enjoy the quiet nights and clean air.
