peaceful and quiet

Although not a brand new house it presents with a charming and authentic character. The outdoor area is beautiful. Stunning pool in a lovely landscaped and well maintained garden. We will be pleased to return one day. Marisa

Great location but with maintenance backlog

The arrival was good. We had a personal handover with a short briefing. The house was a bit musty, especially the kitchen and bathrooms. The furnishings are old and some of them have clearly outlived their useful life. Outside, not everything was clean. However, after appropriate feedback, the points were taken care of immediately. Some of the beds/mattresses are also old. The sea view was only good from the upper terrace, the bushes are unfortunately very tall here. The house in its substance is beautiful, the location is dreamlike and we have spent a great holiday.

Maison très agréable mais comme il y a pas de climatisation très compliqué pour dormir le soir.. Les chambres restent chaudes toute la nuit… En plus, comme il y a plusieurs nid de guêpes, nous n’avons pas pu ouvrir les fenêtres durant tout le séjour…

sehr erholsam

ein schönes Haus in abgelegener Lage, weit weg vom Trubel aber alles mit Mietwagen leicht zu erreichen; vor allem die Außenanlage des Hauses ist herrlich: großer Pool, schöne Terrasse, großer Garten; innen findet man alles, was man braucht. Lediglich die Duschen sind etwas veraltet.

Das Haus und der Garten sind wunderschön! Der Garten ist super gepflegt und sehr schön angelegt! Der Pool ist top, sowie die Aussicht und die Lage! Allerdings, könnte der Gesamteindruck mit ein paar Modernisierungen, gerade in der Küche und den Bädern noch verbessert werden!

Great house & location

Great location, on walking distance of praia de Marinha and very near all the other beaches and tourist attractions. Tip: go to the Albandeira beach early evening and enjoy a much quieter beach, even during summer season. Enough facilities in the house and a nice pool. Be carefull with the slippery tiles of the pool, my wife fell badly, luckily with just bruises. Kitchen is ok but outdated.

Overall pleased

The villas was is in an excellent position very nice gardens and quiet. Inside the villas was very nice tidy and very well equipped especially the kitchen, but It did have a few short comings. There was no hair dryer and only 1 pillow per person which were very inadequate and there were no BBQ utensils. When txt the owner about this we were told they would look into this and never heard from them again. Although it did not spoil the holiday it left us slightly disappointed. Would we go again, not too sure.

Great house in a great location!

Check-in and out was smooth and flexible to our needs! Good communication! Lots of space and huge swimming pool (only missing lights during night). Kitchen was working fine with no issue. Very well equipped (also with drying machine). No A/c but now has fans which solves any warmer conditions. A place to visit again! Thank you!

Wunderschönes Haus mit Garten

Wir haben die Ferien auf diesem Grundstück mit Haus sehr genossen! Der Garten ist riesig und wunderschön gestaltet (Palmen, Blumen usw.). Der Pool grosszügig und sehr sauber (wird regelmässig gepflegt). Auch kann man die Aussendusche gut nutzen (der Duschstrahler müsste mal entkalkt werden). Es ist ein grosses Haus mit grosszügigen Zimmern. Perfekt für einen Aufenthalt mit Familie! Zum Strand muss man aber gut 30 Minuten Fussweg schon einplanen, der Weg ist aber schön zu gehen. Das Haus liegt ausserhalb und wenn man Ruhe und Frieden sucht, perfekt! Die Umgebung wunderschön mit vielen kleinen Buchten zum Baden. Mit dem Auto ist man in 15 Minuten in einem guten Einkaufscenter und abends kann man in 15 Minuten auch zu einem Restaurant gehen. Insgesamt waren wir sehr zufrieden. Auch der Empfang war sehr herzlich und einwandfrei! Einzig die Küche ist ein bisschen alt (die Möbel riechen ein bisschen und die Pfannen/Geschirr nehmen den Geruch an). Allenfalls könnte man Gläser/Pfannen mal austauschen. Der Kühlschrank liess sich nicht so gut schliessen und auch der Geschirrspüler ist ein bisschen provisorisch montiert. Aber grundsätzlich für die Ferien kein Thema und man kann ja auch mal improvisieren. Wir würden auf alle Fälle wieder buchen, wenn es uns in die Algarve zieht :-) !

Spacious, country villa close to Marinha Beach

We really enjoyed our stay at this very spacious and comfortable, country villa. The location is quiet and it is approx 15 mins walk across rough tracks to the steps leading down to Marinha Beach, or slightly longer via the road - spectacular cliff walks. You definitely need a car in this location. Well equipped with marble floors and steps throughout plus lots of interesting artifacts. There were a few minor maintenance issues which the management company were quick to sort out. We would happily return.

Maison agréable

Maison agréable dans l’ensemble malgré le manque de climatisation et un réfrigérateur peu efficace(boisson pas réellement fraîche) et la plage quelques minutes en voiture et non 800m qui serai à vol d’oiseau et très difficile d’accès à pieds sinon belle environnement et région agréable et aucun vis à vis

Bela casa com bela piscina

Bela casa com grandes espaços especialmente exteriores. Muito bom processo de check-in e a pessoa de contacto sempre disponível. Seria perfeito se a casa tivesse um pouco mais de manutenção. Especialmente as máquinas de lavar (louca e roupa) mereciam ser trocadas. A máquina de lavar a loiça não funciona bem e acabamos por ter que fazer a loiça a mão. Apesar desses promenores estava perfeito Muito obrigada
