This exclusive holiday home in a small village with 17 houses is just a few meters from the sea and offers stunning views of the bay and coast of West Cork. This property has private access, green Grassflaechen and a large wooden deck with barbecue and garden furniture. The house itself has a variety of luxury facilities. It is perfect for 5 people and makes the special location and amenities make your vacation a memorable one. The house has 3 bedrooms all with private bath. There is a spacious living area with spectacular sea views. To make your stay as comfortable as possible, the house has a fully equipped kitchen and a nice bright dining and living area with sea views. All bedrooms in this house are equipped with quality beds -two of bedroom with king size bed and a bedroom with a single bed. The house is a 'passive house' and is equipped with solar energy and ventilation system, and therefore is ideal for allergy sufferers. For cleaning and washing as much as possible only environmentally friendly products are used. The Christmas season in this house is an experience. We decorate festive for a particularly nice hard.

Beautiful views at a wonderful home

The house is exactly as described and photos are accurate. Internet worked fine our entire stay and the neighborhoid is very quiet. Communication with Doris was excellent and Angela was an amazing help. Parts of some roads around the house and to Clonakilty were being resurfaced but was never a real inconvenience for us. There seems to be at least 4 various routes from the house to Clonakilty and none are what I'd call fun to drive and that's the only reason I give the location 4 stars while all other aspects are 5. I had a Peugeot SUV so maybe a smaller vehicle would have made driving more comfortable. The outdoor temperatures during our visit ranged from 39°F to mid 60s. The house stayed comfortable at all times. The kitchen was well stocked, hot water and pressure were very good. The view from the patio over the Celtic Sea was amazing at sunrise and sunset. I would stay here again.

Clonakilty 2023

An amazing location, right beside the Sea, a perfect spot to enjoy the sunshine and the storm. We had an amazing holiday, the decking area was absolutely beautiful. it really is a restful place and a perfect base to explore all that West Cork has to offer. I want to go back again very very soon.

A little touch of heaven

What a wonderful week despite the weather being disappointing. We were so relaxed in this amazing property with gorgeous changing views over the sea. The house is well situated for exploring Cork coastal areas. Cobh and Kinsale were especially attractive. Highly recommend this holiday home.

Beautiful, clean, sea-side getaway

The property was exactly as described and shown in the pictures. The cottage was very clean and comfortable with the beds/pillows being the best we have ever had on a vacation. The only thing that could have been better would be directions for the clothes dryer -- everything seemed to be in German on the dryer and we could not understand it. Other than that everything was perfect!

Ireland Adventure

So tranquil

House was fabulous, the view and the sound of the sea was just what we needed after a long journey. The heating was a bit fiddly but Doris was quick to sort out. Would highly recommend Mizen Head and a visit to Inchydoney beach . SuperValu store was fabulous . Lots of fresh bread and food.

Peaceful and restorative stay

My parents, me and a sister recently stayed for a week at this beautiful seaside home. The house is absolutely as advertised, is very comfortable and clean and we loved every minute of it. Doris is efficient and responsive with her communications. Angela, who keeps the place clean, is a great source of local knowledge and an absolute gem. I would 100% stay here again and recommend it to others. I didn't want to leave!

Loved our stay in Clonakilty

Had an amazing stay at our property on the coast. Spectacular views, gourmet equipped kitchen, everything you needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Able to easily reach out to our host Doris who was quick to respond. The house was energy efficient and stayed temperate. Wir (2 Erwachsene + 2 Kinder) haben unseren Urlaub in dem wunderschönen Ferienhaus verbracht. Es war sehr sauber und wir haben uns sofort sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Ausblick von der Terrasse, von der Couch oder beim Kochen waren einzigartig. Wir können das Haus uneingeschränkt empfehlen!

Dieses Haus mit seiner Aufteilung, geschmackvollen Einrichtung und dem sensationellen Ausblick war einfach nur genial. Wir waren mit 3 Generationen (4 Personen) auf Reisen. Die Sauberkeit und Ausstattung des Hauses lassen keinerlei Wünsche offen! Die Kommunikation mit der Hausbesitzerin und der Keykeeperin waren prima und sie waren immer zur Stelle und sehr bemüht unseren Aufenthalt angenehm zu gestalten. Alle Transaktionen liefen absolut problemlos. Die Stille und Angelegenheit dieses Hauses sind einfach unbeschreiblich schön, allerdings muss man Fahrten zum Einkaufen oder etwas längere Fahrten mit dem Auto für Ausflüge einplanen, was aber bei der schönen landschtlichen Umgebung überhaupt nicht stört. Wir würden immer wieder in dieses wunderschöne Haus fahren und uns eine irische Auszeit von allem Trubel zu Hause zu gönnen.

das erste, was meine Frau im Hause sagte war: „ich geh‘ hier nicht mehr weg“! und das sagt eigentlich alles, was es über dieses Ferienhaus zu sagen gibt. Wir hatten eine wunderbare Woche im Juni, öfter Frühstück auf der Terrasse als drinnen jedesmal mit herrlicher Aussicht auf die Klippen und den Atlantik, Regenbogen über dem Meer, Blutmond bei freier Sicht fast ohne Wolken, Yoga auf der großen Terrasse, und natürlich alle Annehmlichkeiten die dieses perfekt stil- und liebevoll eingerichtete (energiesparende) Haus hat, da macht kochen noch mehr Spaß. Das Umland gab tolle Ausflüge her, wie Mizen Head teilweise am Wild Atlantic Way entlang, Schull süßes kleines Städtchen, Kinsale eine wunderschöne bunte Stadt, Cork mit seinem English Market (einfach lecker), schöne Wanderstrecken in der Gegend (Incheydoney Beach Loop, mit Schiffswrack aber bitte nur bei Ebbe!) (oder den Fuchsia-Trail in Courtmacsherry) und natürlich der Super Value in Clonakilty mit seiner tollen regionalen Auswahl. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen und Ihr Haus gerne weiterempfehlen.
