Wonderful property. Comfortable and very nicely decorated. We enjoyed the well equipped kitchen to prepare our meals as well as the hot tub and family room as gathering spots to visit. It was a short but wonderful ttip.stay!
We had a little snow and a ton of fun! The house was fully stocked, very comfortable, and well appointed. Definitely had that private-residence feel and decor. Ski out right from the backyard, and the short walk back to the house was very reasonable. Loved the hot tub - sauna combo after a full day on the slopes. Being the last house at the end of the road was a bonus for parking. Would recommend for larger groups looking for a very nice home. John - Virginia Beach, VA
This house was perfect for staff and friends attending the UCI World Cup mountain bike races at Snowshoe. It had all the amenities we needed, and gave us a perfect place to relax and enjoy time together.
Everything you could ask for. Clean and comfortable home...close to the ski lifts...comfortable beds...every kitchen appliance you are looking for, they have it. Owners were quick with responses when we had questions. It would be hard to come up with a reason not to stay there. We highly recommend it and would stay there again. Thank you for an exceptional stay!!
Awesome house. Awesome host. Best place to stay for large groups on the mountain. New hot tub! We had such a great time! Looking forward to staying again.
We had a great time staying with a group. Plenty of space for all. Just a quick ride to slopes and restaurants. The hosts were extremely responsive. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and wished we could have stayed longer.
Wonderful house close to the ski lifts and slopes. The house was better stocked than other cabins we've stayed at in Snowshoe and the owners went above and beyond in all of their communications. The stairs we're a bit intimidating but the views from the top of the house were worth it. Thanks for the great weekend away.
What a home! My family stayed here for a long weekend trip and we were more than satisfied with our stay. Communication with the owner was excellent-fast responses and went above to assist us with our stay. Even though we stayed on the mountain during one of the busiest weekends, this home provided us with quiet seclusion. This home is relaxing, well spaced out, and clean. We will definitely stay at this home again.
Owners were very accesssible to any question that came up.
Everything we needed was avaiable to us. Lots of kitchen equipment. Comfortable beds.
We were very lucky to have LOTS of snow and the views were lovely inside and out!
2 families with a combined 11 children, ages 4-16, had a wonderful long weekend in Snowshoe! The house was very well equipped with a large kitchen and living area and plenty of comfortable beds. The kids loved bunking together and the adults appreciated 4 levels of living to escape away for a quiet moment. The hot tub was lovely and the view was beautiful. The location was great, close to the top of the soaring Eagle lift. Motivated teens and adults can walk to the slopes. The skiing was great - we definitely hope to make it back next year. The owners were very attentive, offered great suggestions and checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. Thank you!

Fabulous location; best for 2
There is almost no better location. Right on the slopes, it is an easy in and out and ski rentals can be found in the building. The village is right downstairs - so lots of terrific restaurants within walking distance. The room is probably better suited for a couple than for four. The bed itself is comfortable (new mattress), but the pullout couch is not and the room is fairly small. Think hotel room with a queen bed vs studio apartment. But as long as you don't plan to spend much time indoors (and there is no reason to!) - it's a good bet.
I spent a weekend at this property with a group of 10 (2 kids and 8 adults) and had an amazing time! I highly recommend this property for large groups. It's definitely some of the best lodging available at Snowshoe!
Pros:
- 7 bedrooms
- Very new and large hot tub
- Sauna!
- Heated floors
- Tesla charger
- Huge primary suite
- Large comfortable furniture
- Clean and we'll maintained
- Short drive to ski village
Cons
- Short drive to ski village; technically you can walk to the Soaring Eagle lift but it's either a half mile walk up the road or a hike up a very steep hill. We ended up driving up the hill to the free parking then walking to the Soaring Eagle lift
- Lots of stairs. It's 4 stories top to bottom. This was fine for our group who were all under 40, but might be a challenge for anyone not fit enough to ski.
- Minor mantainance issue (like any home rental), but nothing that was an inconvenience

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, location
Disliked: Listing accuracy
Beautiful House, experience renting didn’t match the price.
We had a really lovely time at Snowshoe and got to bond as a work group, the house is very nice and has all necessary equipment for cooking. We had some communication issues with the owner initially(to be fair they were in the middle of a move), their add suggests it can “comfortably sleep 20” but there is a hard limit at 16 and we didn’t find that out until 7:30 the night before because we wanted to be honest earlier in the week. Still, the owner was polite and after that he was very responsive and helpful. The house is beautiful and spacious and has almost everything you need. The kitchen fridge did not work for the duration of our stay, but there was one in the garage we were able to save some food with and we were assured after the visit he was looking into it. Bring extra paper products if you plan on having a larger group(TP and paper towels were limited)! Overall we had a great weekend, we just wish for what we had paid, communication had been more immediate the week of and that if the refrigerator was known to be overwhelmed by guests putting food in an empty fridge, we had been notified prior to arrival. Awesome skiing for east coast!!!!
This house was great for our large family! We were able to all gather in the living area, but spread out to give independence for the children and adults. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking for a crowd. I had taken sleds which were thoroughly enjoyed on the snow covered road just outside the house when not on the slopes.
Couple of negatives: be prepared to walk up/down stairs a lot! We definitely got our workout with 3 little ones in pack ‘n plays on bottom level and unpacking/packing. There is an elevator, but not accessible to guests, which I understand especially with children, but sure would have been helpful with unpacking/packing. Also, we ran out of trash bags. Cleaners brought maybe 4 more, but with a house full we went thru a lot of trash. Owner said previous renters must have taken - we were able to purchase some without going down the mountain, so all was good. Lastly, there were towels still in washing machine when we arrived. I understand the dryer, but had we not noticed them and put in dryer, they could have soured.
Overall it was a great vacation spot! Andy was always quick to respond to my questions, which is something I value.
We had the best time visiting and staying in this property! It was very comfortable and true to the listing! Also this place is the perfect location within the village at Snowshoe!
Great location! The room had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable.
