This is a very comfortable home instead of a rental. Home has three bedrooms, two baths. Queen bed in master. Queen in upstairs bedroom, full and twin in second upstairs bedroom. Twin bed downstairs in secondary family room which can also be used as fourth bedroom. Comfortable pull out sofa in main living room. Gas fireplace, dishwasher, microwave, plasma TV with cable, wireless internet. Very kid friendly with movies and games.

Family Ski trip to Stratton

Renovated classic Vermont farmhouse was a perfect spot for our family ski trip. Clean comfortable and located at the base of the Stratton Access road it served us well.

Super Bowl at Stratton

Went to Stratton Mtn for our annual SuperBowl Ski weekend. House location was great and equipped for what we needed. There was plenty of room for us. Owner was proactive and responsive to any questions I had. The Barn looked very neat but the weather was too cold to enjoy it.

Cozy House and Great Stay

We couldn't have enjoyed our trip more. The house was the perfect setting for a ski trip getaway, with all the feel of a cozy Vermont lodge you could want. Will definitely look to book this place again for our next Vermont adventure.

Beautiful and cozy! So close to Stratton Mountain and Manchester area. The house was quintessential VT and perfect for our family. Looking forward to returning! It was perfect!

Perfect family getaway

We had a great long weekend at this home with our family of 5. Was so close to Stratton and Bromley. Doug was great with communication and was easy to work with. Rooms were good size. Also had a great garage/barn area with darts, ping pong and foosball. Had a really nice time there.

Easiest off mountain location

It doesn't really get better than this, directly at the bottom of the Stratton Mountain Road. House is great, 4 bedrooms, 2 bath, ski room, barn has been set up as a fun game room. Kitchen is open and perfectly set up. Backyard with Adirondak chairs, fire pit, grill...nothing more is needed! Hosts are wonderful..this is our second visit to this house and will certainly return again! Thank you Doug & Kim!

Great location. Comfortable and spacious

Doug was very fast at communicating with us. The location is perfect and easy to find. We were a group of 10+1 child. There is enough space for all. But in the end only 8 ppl were present. The 2 bathrooms (one is inside master) can be challenging for a large group but we were all friends and easy going so it worked out well. The kitchen is well equipped. The central heat works very well and the fireplace helps with the ambiance. We loved our stay there.

Charming home, great location.

What a lovely home! Our two families had more than enough space for sleeping & chilling out after skiing. Location is AMAZING! What a luxury it is to make two turns of the car wheel to get onto the mountain!

Great home/location

The home was spacious with a great layout. The extra room was certainly a bonus. Right at the mouth of the mountain with a 5-10 minute drive to Stratton made it super convenient to get up on the ski day. Doug communicated very well. Would stay again for sure!

Perfect house for Stratton weekend

The house was super convenient to enjoy skiing at Stratton without paying to be on the mountain. House was clean, and the beds were comfortable. Shower pressure was great and the kitchen was well equipped.

Exactly what we were looking for!

We had a great stay and the house was exactly what we were looking for! We came for a family ski weekend but didn’t need to be right on the mountain. The house was a short drive up to Stratton and we enjoyed the market and restaurant right near by. Doug was extremely responsive throughout the entire process and was a wealth of great information!

Perfectly situated Stratton home

Doug's property is in an extremely convenient location, just at the bottom of the Stratton Mountain access road, sitting across a quiet road from a small river. It has a multi-car driveway for convenient parking, but I think parking on the road would work as well. There is a spacious living room, open kitchen, dining area, and a TV area. The kitchen has all of the amenities you could want for a stay away from home. Everything was clean an organized and ready for use. The sleeping areas are comfortable, with the master containing its own full bathroom. There is another full bathroom upstairs with the two bedrooms. Through the back room, with more sleeping area, it has a winter gear storage area for your ski gear, which leads into a large, old, Vermont barn that has some games for entertainment such as foosball, a dart board, and a ping pong table. It has a large yard out back with a patio and fire pit. Doug has been extremely responsive throughout the entire process and always offering his help along the way. I will keep this place in mind for the winter season!

Great house - lots of space

We are a family of 5 and this house was a perfect fit. TONs of space inside the house for the kids to "spread out" a bit and enjoy. It was super kid-friendly. Good bedrooms for everyone. The owner Doug was easy to get a hold of and described everything perfectly. We had a great time!
