Short but sweet

Very comfortable, nicely decorated home for 4 adults. Great amenities, with responsive hosts who anticipated all needs. Convenient location with amazing restaurant across the street. Look forward to coming back again in the Summer or Spring to enjoy the back yard and vista. Thank you!

White Mountain Getaway

We can’t say enough good things about this place. The home is spotless, lovingly decorated, has everything you could possibly need and is close to exploring everything in the White Mountains.The home shows how much pride the owners take in making sure visitors are ensured a wonderful stay. We highly recommend staying here and can’t wait to come back ourselves.

Always a Great Stay

The house is fabulous! Kitchen is well stocked and overall setting is quiet, warm and cozy. The location is perfect for hiking access and well as shopping, etc in North Conway. Communication with the owners was immediate and friendly when we had a question.

Perfect location for hiking in White Mountains

We are avid hikers and stayed at this property for 2 weeks at end of August/early September. The house is roomy, contemporary furnishings, well stocked with basics and more, owner readily available and helpful when I initially had difficulty turning on the oven. The large deck, and fire pit in the back yard are a real bonus. We enjoyed town of Jackson, golfing at Wentworth, and hiking in the area. We were pleasantly surprised with a fireworks display on Labor Day, as the town had to postpone July 4th show because of weather. We will definitely look to stay here again when we return to the area.

Amazing property

We have many stays in this area, but never in such a quiet and peaceful area away from the busy touristy areas but Close enough to enjoy all of them as well . All the amenities, to be very vacationey if that’s a word, the property was very clean, remote, but not standalone and enjoyed a very lovely chat with the lovely Gardner. House was very well, equipped and stocked five stars all the way !

Beautiful Home in the White Mountains

We've stayed in a number of VRBO rentals, and I think this is the most immaculately kept and well stocked house we've rented yet. The owners have thought of everything, providing extra blankets in both bedrooms, fans in every room, lots of extra towels, and plenty of paper goods like paper towels and toilet paper, and as a tea drinker, I was very happy to see a kettle on the stove when we arrived. The beds and furniture are very comfortable and if you keep the sliding door open you can hear the river at the back of the property. The house is beautiful and there are so many lovely details it's too much to list here. The house is on a busy road, but if you're ok with walking alongside Route 16 for about 2-3 minutes, you can walk over the covered bridge into the town of Jackson right from the house.

Clean, comfortable and conveniently located.

This cottage was the perfect choice for our weekend family trip. Conveniently located near Storyland which was our primary destination. There were a few toys and books for our two year old to play with which helped keep her occupied. Communication with the owner was great. They made the process very simple. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely return to this property in the future.

April Get Away with Friends

Our hosts, Heath and Seth, were very easy to reach. Not a single problem, lovely place, well appointed and very very clean! Even though the property was on a main road, the front yard landscaping provided complete privacy and the Zen garden with running fountain pool is lovely to experience as you step out the front doorway. Oh and by the way, this was the most comfortable mattress hands down we have ever slept on at a VRBO listed property 🙂!

Great house!

Our stay was fabulous! The house was cozy and modern and well stocked with everything we needed. The location was convenient to hikes and shopping. We would love to come back in warmer weather to enjoy the deck and river view.

Great skiing getaway

We have stayed at this property several times before and it is one of our favorites. It is a short drive to Wildcat and Attitash, so it is in a perfect location for a skiing getaway. It was especially nice to enjoy the fireplace after long, cold days of skiing. It is the perfect size for a family of four.

Excellent cottage in the White Mountains

My husband and I had a brilliant 10 night stay in this cottage in February 2024. The cottage had everything we needed and much more. We’ll definitely be back in the future!

Very comfortable accommodation

The house was very nice. It was clean, fully equipped with everything you need. The only downside was the fireplace. The owner listed it as temperamental when it is totally inoperable. Really needs to be replaced. Other than that we were very pleased with the property.

Thanksgiving 2023

We stayed with our 2 year old for Thanksgiving break. The house was well appointed with new appliances, comfortable beds, toys for kids, books, baby gates, pac n play. We appreciated having sharp chefs knife to prepare our Thanksgiving meal along with a full size cutting board and Pyrex containers for left overs. The propane stove for heating worked flawlessly for the 10 degree nights. The house was spotless, clean and tidy and the hosts were very responsive. We will definitely come backin the summer to enjoy the river and the fire pit right in the backyard.

Lovely home with a great location.

This listing was immaculately clean when we arrived. The house is perfect for a family of four as long as you're children do not mind sharing a bed. Our four-year-old still wakes up a lot in the middle of the night so we put her on an air mattress in the primary bedroom with us. There is just enough space for a small toddler blow up. The kitchen, dining, and living room layout are fantastic for early morning breakfast and take out dinners at the house. The Red Fox across the street had fantastic food and a whole separate area just for takeout which moved extremely quick. It's about 5 minutes from Storyland and about 50 minutes from Santa's Village. The lovely added bonus is the fire pit in the backyard. The owners left us some wood so we can enjoy the area, which we did two nights in a row. Just remember to grab bug spray! The busy street wasn't really an issue. We always have noise machines whenever we travel. The noise of the traffic was a non issue. The owners were extremely accessible and accommodate. I would definitely stay again.

Very nice little house perfectly suited for a 1 child family vacation.

We enjoyed our stay at this house. We had planned out a trip to take our 3 year old to Storyland, Santa’s Village, and to do a drive up Mt Washington. This house was located in a very good location to reach all of these points of interest (with Storyland being a couple minutes down the road). We were happy to have a kitchen to cook in, laundry machines to utilize as needed, and a smart TV in the living room with both cable access and various streaming services pre-logged in and ready to use. Also the property owners provided baby gates we could use, which came in handy blocking off the stairs to the basement. The property was very clean and tidy, even under the beds which we appreciated as our daughter found her first opportunity to crawl under a bed and seized the opportunity repeatedly. Across the street is a popular bar/grill, that also has a small country store built in, and there is a grocery store and Dairy Queen about 5 minutes south. Overall we were very pleased with our stay and would consider staying there again in the future.

Peaceful retreat in Jackson

My partner and I had a lovely, quiet stay and enjoyed seeing the river behind the property, fireflies in the evening, and having a beautiful space to relax and cook. We unfortunately could not try out the grill or fire pit because of rain, but we would definitely come back!
