The holiday house built in 2006 is on the edge of a small, quiet residential estate, outside of the charismatic town of Frymburk. The owners are offering this accommodation to holiday guests who would like to explore this beautiful area all around the Vltava reservoir lake.
It provides 93m² of living space, surrounded by a fascinating and virtually untouched landscape. The house is timeless and modern, furnished in a western style, and exudes a very special character and plenty of warmth with its charming details. The ground floor has a big, light room facing the lake, with a very well-equipped kitchen in a pleasant design, as well as a living room with satellite TV and a new, comfortable and generous suite (including sofa bed and a topper). The kitchen is equipped with a ceramic hob (4 rings), an oven, a dishwasher, a spacious fridge, a kettle, a mini oven, a filter coffee machine, a toaster and all the necessary crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils, pots and pans etc. It also has a fireplace stove that is easy to use, which provides pleasant warmth on cooler days. There is an inviting bathroom with a shower cubicle, a little sauna, separate WC and a little hall, to round off the ground floor. A charming stairwell leads up to the attic rooms, comprising two separate bedrooms (two single beds that can also be used as a double bed, one futon bed), both rooms with a view of the lake. There is another bathroom with a corner bath, a separate WC and a cosy little ‘den’ that can be used as a play corner for children, or as an additional bedroom for two small children or one adult, with a pull-out sofa bed.
In May 2018 a 22m² wooden terrace with railings was built on the side facing the lake, affording a great view of the lake. It provides an 8-piece garden suite (four chairs, a two-seater bench, a stool, a table and a parasol), as well as a five-piece mosaic seating group, consisting of two armchairs with cushions and a table. The remaining space would allow loungers to be set up there in addition. In the outdoor area there is also a wooden suite consisting of two benches with cushions, a table and a parasol. In the rear area of the site there is an open fireplace with a grill grid. Rustic tree trunks serve as seating. To explore the lake from the water and as additional fun and recreation, a rowing boat is available, as well as a kayak that is also easy for children to row. The safe and proper handling of the boat and kayak are your responsibility. Note that it is forbidden to light a fire by the lakeshore.
The owners welcome you personally upon arrival and bid farewell personally on departure. The cleaning, taking care of the outdoor area, maintenance work are in their hands and they do their best to ensure a high quality standard. They kindly request that you leave the property clean and tidy, dispose of rubbish and wash the dishes. In case of extreme dirtiness, they will retain additional cleaning costs from your deposit. All bed linen and tea towels are provided. Note that hand and shower towels are not provided and you must bring your own. A travel cot and a highchair are available for free use, but please notify this in advance with your booking. Outside of the summer season (July, August) the duration and the arrival day for your stay can be agreed individually and flexibly. During the main season, arrivals are on Saturdays for at least 7 days. It is closed in winter. Smoking and pets are not allowed.
The nearby shore has some sandy and stony sections and is flat. It is about 1.5km to access to a well-developed cycle path. There is a little kiosk about 200 metres away open during the summer season and the nearest further shopping facilities are about 5km away.
