The 2023 newly renovated villa was built in a Florida style and it is located in the south of Cape Coral (Rosa Garden Area) on the popular Lake Britannia. Enjoy the view of the lake from the large patio. The western rear exposure guarantees you stunning sunsets. The tastefully equipped house offers you a large, well-lit living room with an open kitchenette and 5 invitingly furnished bedrooms. In the living room, you will find a large flat-screen TV, DVD, stereo and WLAN high speed internet access (master bedroom has an additional TV). You will surely spend most of the time on the insect-protected patio. Swim in the large heated pool (heat pump) and whirlpool and listen to the sounds of the palms. Finally you can have your meals outside with the sun! A helpful and friendly manager is ready to help you.There is a large American Weber-grill on the patio. Passionate fishers will value the rich population of fish in the salt water lake. Without setting a foot out outside of the vacation residence, you can go fishing for tropical fish. Of course, you can also just enjoy the sunset and watch the dolphins and manatees.
Please note that the boatdock is currently unavailable (destroyed by hurrican IAN). Yo can not dock rented or own boats to the boatdock.

Beautiful place

What a great house and beautiful neighborhood! I planned this trip very last minute (about 2 weeks out), and was able to find this amazing place. There is a lot of reconstruction in the area due to Ian, and I would love to go back once that is all done. It’s heartbreaking to see all the damage in the area. We really enjoyed our stay, thank you for sharing your home with us for the week.

Wonderful vacation

We had such a wonderful vacation at this beautiful place. The house is huge, clean, nicely decorated, well stocked. The location is perfect - on a lake offering amazing views. All of us (age 10 to 80+) enjoyed the stay so much and we didn't want to leave. The owner is a very kind person. Highly recommend!

It was perfect!

Loved the property. Wonderful vacation with daughters and grandsons. Owner was great to communicate with. We were able to dock our boat at the property and enjoy it. And the neighbors on either side were very friendly and helpful! You don’t always find that. One grandson summed it up saying best vacation ever Nanny!

Family Get Together!

Beautiful home, when we arrived we opened the door and had a Beautiful view of the pool area and the lake in the background, we knew we were going to have a wonderful vacation here! The house was very spacious and had plenty of room for all of us,. The house was very well stocked with everything ee needed, from pots and pans to dishes and utensils. Master bed was Very comfortable, but some of the other mattresses in the bedrooms weren’t very comfortable, but overall it was a fantastic stay! If we ever return to this area we will definitely rent this house again five stars!!

Great boating location and backyard view.

The homes location was in a excellent spot for all the places we wanted to see. It was especially great if you wanted to rent the optional boat that is at the house. I have been a great lakes boater all my life and the rental boat at this property was very impressive for its size class for ride comfort and person capacity. The property management company could have been a little more attentive to staying up on pool maintenance and the cleanliness of the house, especially the floors. If you were barefoot in the house your feet would turn black. It would have been nice to t.v.s in all the bedrooms and more stations on cable, you could get CNN news (Ugh) but Fox News was locked out, strange. Overall I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

This is a huge house that backs to a beautiful lake. The neighborhood is fantastic. Everything you need is here. Wonderful lanai area with pool and whirlpool. Heike was very responsive to any questions we had. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this property.

The house is great. With all rentals there are a few maintenance issues that are to be expected but not a big issue. The 2 big issues were in the bedroom with the second “king size” bed. It is 2 twin beds pushed together and very uncomfortable mattresses. On top of that, the ceiling fan in that room does not work properly. Both the light and the fan are either on or off. We finally found a really dirty box fan in the garage to keep us cool at night. The pool was awesome!! We had plenty of space for all of us. We would rent this house again,.

What an excellent choice!

I was looking for a VRBO to accommodate a reunion with our 3 adult children. My focus was to find a house where we would simply enjoy spending time together. The owner of this home, Heike, was always responsive to my questions. Upon entry of this sprawling ranch, I knew it would provide the perfect Floridian setting for our reunion. Comfortable furnishings (inside and out), high end appliances, hard surface flooring throughout and two spacious sitting rooms created a welcoming space. Walls of windows and sliders in every room overlooking the fully screened lanai and swimming pool provide gorgeous water views, while brightening the home with plenty of natural light. This outdoor space seems transformed at night with bursts of color from the sunsets and pool lighting. The kitchen is ample and nicely stocked. 5 bedrooms provided privacy and are well spaced. There is plenty to do at this rental; swimming, playing games, fishing (rods provided) and boating (additional fee). There are various pool and beach toys in the garage for your use. Also, plenty of beach towels! The Rotary Park Environmental Center is only 1/2 mile away. We rented the optional boat for 4 days. It is a well- maintained, clean deck boat stored in a dock w/lift outside the home. Captain Mathias professionally handled the boat check out and return process. He even took extra time with our in-house boat Captain to point out some cautionary areas. There are low water and manatee zones to be aware of. I would definitely recommend renting the boat. It takes 30-40 minutes of idling through a canal to reach open water. There are beautiful homes to look at on either side of the canal. Out in the open waters we saw several pools of dolphins. Also, visited restaurants that most likely would have gone unnoticed if not for the water access. The neighborhood appears to have seen a transition and the smaller original homes have been replaced with 2500 - 8000+ sq.ft. homes. A few of the original homes and building lots exist. This house is situated on a desirable corner lot with the feel of no neighbor privacy. The closest public beach we could find is The Yacht Club Beach, a 10-15 minute drive from the house. It is small with grayish sand and lake-ish looking water. If you desire the white beaches and Caribbean like blue water, check out Sanibel Island. The pictures of the house represent exactly what you get. No surprises.........which I appreciate.

Beautiful Home

This house was perfect for the 10 of us. Plenty of room and great location to Fort Myers, Sanibel and other beautiful places. I was a bit taken back by the daily pricing for using the hot tub, which was a selling point for us to rent. My kids loved the fishing outback! Overall great house, pool and beautiful sunsets.

Enjoyed Our Stay

Overall we enjoyed our stay. The property was clean, and well appointed. I suspect the issues we encountered were a result of the owners not being able to visit as a result of Covid. The batteries in many of the remotes were dead, including the pool remote. We had a door fall off it’s hinge and the boat wasn’t available due to mechanical issues. The pool wasn’t swimable for most of our stay. We agreed it was probably a combination of me turning off the filter at night and the pool guy failing to properly clean it the Friday before we arrived because it was full of people when he came to clean it. The owner Heike did offer to waive the final cleaning fee as a result. The location is awesome. Beautiful sunsets. My kids and I loved fishing right off the wall and did well. Too many manatee sightings to count. We rented a boat and had a great time exploring the area. Overall a great vacation and I’d gladly stay here again despite the few issues we encountered.

AMAZING FAMILY VACATION STAY - HIGHLIGHT of 2020!!!!

This property exceeded our expectations and needs on every level. The pictures do not do it justice. We travelled with 5 family units and the accommodations were perfect for us. With 2 bedrooms on one side and 3 on the other it provided privacy and separation when you wanted it. The house has a spacious kitchen for cooking, two separate sitting areas indoors, and three dining locations. The indoor dinning room was perfect for formal sit down (we did 1000 piece puzzles here) but we spent most of our time dining on the spacious outdoor table on the lanai where we could enjoy the sunset at dinner time. The pool and hot tub in the lanai were used every single day. Talk about relaxing and great family time. The big winner for the outdoor people was the amazing lot location on the corner which provided lots of areas for casting a fishing pole into the lake. We caught tons of fish and had a ton of fun. We took advantage of renting the boat from them which was a great idea. It is a jaunt out to the open water but the canals are gorgeous and so relaxing. From a business standpoint, dealing with the owner, the property manager, and the boat captain was so convenient. They were timely with communicating with us before, during and after our stay. No surprise charges or gotchas. You absolutely cannot go wrong working with this team. We would rent this house again in a heartbeat for a future family gathering.
