Great place to stay!

Easy access to everything, restaurants etc. but far enough away that the area didn’t feel crowded. You almost felt like you were on a private beach. Very comfortable and clean condo, the master bed was super comfortable. The owners were easily reached and responded quickly to our questions. We recommend!

Beautiful views - immaculate condo

This was by far one of the most immaculately cleaned condos we have stayed in. It was well supplied and even had beach toys in the garage space below. So close to everything. We enjoyed it very much

Beautiful condo and stunning views

This place was something out of a magazine from opening the door and seeing the beautiful view from the 3 big windows in the living room to the fantastic view from the master bedroom when waking up. The beach is literally at your fingertips, quick little walk from the condo to the beach. The condo has its own private parking spot right by the stairs to your room. It also has its own storage box to store your sandy toys and chairs so you don't have to bring them upstairs with you. Also, anyone who stays here has to go down the road and see Fort Pickens, it's $25.00 for the week and the morning walks and drives are something me and my family will never forget. This is a gem of a spot and I'm already trying to plan another a week there ASAP.

Just what we wanted

We have visited the gulf coast several times in spring and summer and wanted to experience it in the winter and mother nature cooperated. I must start by saying that Melissa was wonderful to work with. Very easy to communicate with and provided good advice. Our flights in both directions were changed and she was very accommodating. The condo was very comfortable and had everything we needed for the week. The location is very convenient to the Publix across the bridge and to a lot of good dining options nearby. Access to the beach is easy. If you like dogs, there is a dog beach 200 yards up the beach. As someone else mentioned I too drove past the complex and had a little trouble finding the correct driveway & gate. I would definitely stay here again when I am in Pensacola.

Thanksgiving stay

Arrived in the evening and could not see the number on the building. Directions about entering the gate would have been helpful. "Pull car as close to the gate as possible and it will open automatically." The photo of the building on the email told us we were at the right building. That is about the only thing I would suggest. Everything else was great!

Nice condo!

Overall we enjoyed our stay at this condo. It is located on the gulf and has wonderful views. It is in a quiet area on the beach and not very crowded at all. Only negative was the sliding door, leading to the balcony, from the living area was broken and we were unable to use it. We had to go through the master bedroom if we wanted to go out on the balcony. This was a definitely more difficult having our grown son with us who loves sitting on the balcony in the evenings. No one was able to sit outside if my husband or I were in the shower or trying to get dressed in the room. We would definitely consider staying at this condo again as long as we can use the sliding doors.

It was a wonderful place on the end near the steps. Near the pool. They are still working on getting new sliding glass doors which will be wonderful. The beds were comfortable and the ice maker worked! We are already booked for next year, Great place to be and great seafood to eat. What wonderful hosts we had. So this was our first VRBO experience and we were so happy we had this rental.

April beach getaway

Well equipped condo with awesome location- listening to waves to sleep was so amazing. Quick walk to beach and condo decorated so beachy and nice. We love Pensacola and this condo was perfect to go to Fort Pickens or just hang out!

This has been a fun, family project for us. We purchased the unit in December of 2013 and did major renovation work through the late spring of 2014. We love Pensacola Beach and have enjoyed being a part of the vacation experience for all of our guests.
If you are a returning guest, please let us know and you will not need to pay the $79 damage insurance.

Why they chose this property

We like the Gulf-front location, especially the wide back balcony that allows you to feel that you are right on the beach all the time. The place has a relaxed and laid-back feel and is great for a relaxing getaway. Gulf Winds is a small complex, which allows guests to avoid some of the chaos of staying in large condo building during the busiest summer months.
