Beautiful Lakefront Log Cabin with Panoramic View. Near all Local Attractions!

THE BEST MEMORIES ARE MADE AT THE LAKE

Welcome to Eagle Point at Lake Adger where Southern elegance meets rustic charm at this lakeside retreat. As spring summer, and fall 2025 approaches, full lake access is available with breathtaking mountain scenery, abundant hiking trails, and many restaurants nearby. As my guest, my goal is to provide an atmosphere of genuine comfort in a warm, relaxed, yet refined log cabin home where "Good Memories Can Be Made". The cabin is located on a 1 acre panoramic main channel lakefront lot with 14 miles of shoreline and an average lake depth of 72 ft. Canoe and kayaks on property for guest use. During your stay, outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy swimming, boating, fishing, making s'mores around the campfire, stargazing, nature observation, and jumping off of Frog Rock on a warm Carolina blue sky day. Relax with your morning coffee on the rocking chair screened porch or deck overlooking the lake with private dock and mountain view. Take a leisurely walk on the community trail located directly across the road from the cabin. On a rainy day, play chess or assemble a puzzle on the 'Pony-Up' bar while drinking a hot chocolate or a cool lemonade beverage. Or, curl up in a soft leather chair with a good book next to the fireplace. Savor juicy steaks, corn on the cob, and hot dogs on the outdoor gas grill. At sunset, peacefully contemplate life on the lakeside tree hammock while listening to the sounds of nature's tranquility. A cabin 'Guest Book' provides a list of adventurous mountain hikes and scenic waterfalls to visit as well as dining suggestions and things to do in the area that appeal to a variety of interests and ages. Zip-line through Hickory Nut Gorge, go tubing down a river, sample local wines and craft beers, listen to a blues grass band, play tennis or golf, during winter months ice skate and see a Winterfest light show at Tryon Resort, attend an art or apple festival, horseback ride and pet animals at a stable, be marveled at the Biltmore Estate, go antiquing, go fishing on Lake Adger with a licensed guide, enjoy a theatrical production at NC state’s Flat Rock Playhouse, shop locally made crafts or unwind with a spa treatment at the 1927 Lake Lure Inn.

Best Rental Ever!

We had the best time staying in this beautiful cabin! From the moment we walked it we felt instantly at home. It was a perfect location with an incredible view and Alicia’s decor gave us the cozy cabin feeling we were looking for. The cabin was even better in person and exceeded all my expectations! Do not hesitate to rent this unique gem, you will not forget the property or the memories you make there!

Best Stay Ever!

Well, we have a new standard by which to judge all future VRBOs! Alicia’s home is the warmest, best stocked, most welcoming VRBO we have stayed in. When we say the house is well-stocked, we mean everything - and it’s in marked drawers to easily find. But the fridge was completely empty which is a bonus for us, who do not like to see other’s leftover ketchup and mustard. The beds were comfortable with plenty of towels and bathroom supplies. The cabin is an Up North dream. It’s On Golden Pond - the cabin we would want to spend our days in. The waterfront is perfect with the fire ring and deep water dock. The ladder out of the water is easy for 2 mid-sixty year olds to climb. The bird feeders are entertainment in themselves, including hummingbirds who came to the feeder even though we were sitting right there. The screened porch was our coffee/meal place. Best 5 days ever but now we’re spoiled for all other VRBOs. We’ll just have to keep coming back here! Thank you, Alicia, for sharing your beautiful home with us.

Heaven on earth

I don’t have adequate words to describe how much we enjoyed our week long stay at this lovely cabin in the woods. The house was charming and perfect. It was well appointed. We had everything we needed and more. The setting of the house is just a few yards away from a beautiful lake. The neighborhood was quiet and private. We highly recommend this property!

Peaceful & Surrounded by Wildlife

This was by far the best VRBO we have stayed at in many years. The home was super clean and supplied with just about any supplies needed. The kayaks and floating dock were used frequently and the screened porch was wonderful. There was plenty of activities to keep the mist active people entertained. With the hiking trails, Lake Lure, and Chimney Rock State Park close by it is a great location to interact with Mother Nature and her beauty. The nearby Lake House restaurant is a wonderful escape for food with a view. Do not pass by the small ice cream shop on the road home from there as it is a nice treat before returning to the home. We can not thank Alicia enough for the detail and attention she pays to her wonderful home. Thanks Alicia and we will be back in the near future for another wonderful stay at your home.

Enjoyable Family Spot

What a great place to relax with family - from the living room to the screened-in porch to the deck to the dock! We used all of it! The view was beautiful, and there were lots of activities to choose from. Nice bedrooms and bathrooms/showers. The kitchen was well supplied for the cooking we did, and we enjoyed our meals on the porch. There is no lack of activities in the area within a 1 hour radius. Thanks, Alicia, for a great place to make family memories!

Amazing Getaway Weekend!

What a wonderful stay! The cabin was beautiful and had everything we could have wanted inside and out. The grounds were also phenomenal, right on the lake, beautifully landscaped, and many extras like kayaks were provided. Alicia was wonderful as our host and we would definitely return to the property in the future!

Perfect getaway!

This cabin far exceeded our expectations!! Driving in for the first time was amazing, it’s like you’re driving into the trees. I have never stayed somewhere with a view like this. The cabin itself was well stocked, clean, and you can tell the owner really loves this place. We loved all of the details of the cabin. We are a family of 4 with a 5 and 6 year old and it was a great set up for our family. We enjoyed fishing, sitting on the porch, and even took a ride on the canoe. Thank you Alicia for sharing your cabin with us!

fall foliage

This was the nicest of all of our trips with VRBO. If you take the time to look around , you will find that the owner has gone out of her way to decorate and add little extra touches to make sure that you enjoy your stay. Kayaking with our dog was a riot and Stargazing from the dock was amazing,S'mores by the campfire hit the spot. We liked the place so much that we only left to get a couple of steaks to cook up and we ate every meal on the back deck looking out at Lake Adger. We cant say enough about it.

5+ Stars

If I could give this rustic, eclectic, craftsman, cabin more than 5 stars, I would! We’ve stayed at many VRBOs over the years and this by far was the CLEANEST, well stocked, and most beautifully decorated place yet. Alicia was the most gracious host. Thank you for the last minute accommodation of our pup. We look forward to staying here again!

Memories at the Lake

We enjoyed our stay at the lakefront cabin! It is very well kept and clean. Our family appreciated the attention to detail for amenities provided such as complete kitchen supplies and countless thoughtful items for our convenience. We were very comfortable with plenty of space for sleeping, playing with the kids and perfect coffee spots galore with scenic views. We ate all our meals at the family style picnic table on the back porch. The Lake Adger community is very clean and quiet. The mountain views while fishing on the dock and paddling the provided canoe made it hard to leave. The location worked out well for attending an event at TIEC and visiting Sky Top apple orchard. We are thankful for sweet family memories made at this cabin. Many thanks to the owners for sharing their beautiful space with us!

Great, quiet lake getaway.

We visited here with my mother and two kids. The property was quiet and well stocked. The kids really enjoyed fishing and swimming off the dock. My son got to kayak for the first time. My mother is older and hasn’t been able to fish in years. She really enjoyed sitting on the dock and getting the opportunity to do something she’s really missed.

Fantastic vacation spot

The property is amazing, but that walk up to the house from the dock is humbling! Your thighs will get a workout for sure. The neighborhood trail is a nice little walk. This is a very well stocked house that you can tell the owners truly care for. A small thing that we really liked was the mesh gate that pulls across to block the stairs down from the lower deck. Our dog was able to go from the screened porch to the lower deck without us having to wrangle her. The screened porch was wonderful. Our daughter spent so much time in the hammock chair. Side note, as a previous flute player she loved the flute lamp! The beds are soft and comfortable. While the only tv is in the loft, our son saw that as a benefit. He loved sleeping up there. He said it was the best room in the house because he had the tv, his own bathroom, and a desk. My husband and I are both tall so it was really nice to have high shower heads! The only negative I have to say, and it’s no fault of anyone, is during the week (Mon June 26 - Fri June 30) they were doing construction on a garage or something on the house next door. It really took away from the peaceful atmosphere we had on Saturday and Sunday. Nothing says relaxing morning coffee like sawing, hammering, and a nail gun echoing all across the lake. Hopefully the next guests will have a break from it since the holiday is this week. All in all we really enjoyed our time at Eagle Point and would love to come back.
