About this property

Holiday cottage in the countryside, family-friendly

You are on vacation in our parents' house. It is still a special place for us and we want you to feel at home there. In 2021 we renovated and furnished the house. The ground floor with kitchen, bathroom, living room and a single bedroom can be reached without stairs (via flat slopes), as is the covered patio. On the first floor there are 3 further bedrooms, a small play area and a sun terrace with loungers. The kitchen is fully equipped (dishwasher, kettle, coffee maker, toaster, stove with ceramic hob and oven, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment); a washing machine is available.
The house is quiet and surrounded by greenery. There is a meadow for playing and a sandpit. A hammock invites you to relax.
You can quickly reach all tourist attractions by car. The nearest shop is approx. 800 m away, as is a bus stop.
Small walks and longer hikes can be started directly from the house. Access to Residenzweg is approx. 400 m away.

Gerne wieder
Waren schon zum zweiten Mal hier und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. In der Nähe kann auf Ponys geritten werden. Kontakt ist im Gästebuch zu finden. Kontakt mit dem Vermieter ist schnell und sehr nett. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Ons verblijf was prima. Alles was aanwezig. Goede bedden en heel compleet ingericht huis. Mooie omgeving met natuur en cultuur. Er bleek wel een trein langs te rijden, maar daar hebben we niet echt last van gehad.

5 Sterne plus
Wir waren als Familie (Mama, Papa, Tochter, Schwiegersohn und Enkelkind) hier. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Das Haus ist sehr liebevoll und großzügig ausgestattet. Auch wenn wir jahreszeitbedingt gar nicht alles nutzen konnten entging uns nicht die Liebe im Detail. Es ist großer Luxus wenn man nicht jede Kleinigkeit mitbringen muss. Da fühlt sich der Urlaub mehr nach Urlaub an. Wir empfehlen die Unterkunft und die Vermieter uneingeschränkt weiter.

Idealer Standort, um OWL rund um Hermann und Externsteine zu erkunden.
Komplett und geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Ferienhaus mit 4 Zimmern. 4 ehemalige Studienfreunde haben ein langes Wochenende hier verbracht und Wanderungen zu den Externsteinen und zum Hermannsdenkmal gemacht.

Vom Meschesee bis Bückeburg
Wir - eine Gruppe von 4 Frauen - haben unseren Kurzurlaub im "Haus Gerda" sehr genossen. Sowohl die Spaziergänge und Wanderungen in näherer Umgebung als auch die Besuche in den umliegenden Städtchen haben dazu beigetragen. Das Haus ist sehr sauber und mit allem, was zu einem angenehmen Aufenthalt beiträgt, ausgestattet. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

ruhig gelegenes Ferienhaus, Nähe Touristischen Zielen
Das Ferienhaus Gerda ist in einer ruhigen Sackgasse gelegen. Im Haus und auf dem Hof findet man alles was eine Familie braucht. In der Nähe befindet sich ein kleiner Spielplatz. Der Zug ist hörbar aber nicht störend. Wahnsinnig tolle Ausflugsziele sind in ein paar Autominuten zu erreichen. Wir kommen bestimmt nochmal wieder.

Tolles Haus
Wir waren als Paar mit meiner gehbehinderten Mutter (82) für 8 Tage in diesem Haus und wir können es guten Gewissens empfehlen. Die Organisation und Kommunikation mit der Familie Hesse war optimal. Freundlich, zuverlässig und unkompliziert. Die Schlüsselübergabe erfolgte über einen Schlüsselsafe und bei Abreise mussten wir nur alles abschließen und zuziehen. Im Haus war alles vorhanden und damit meine ich auch alles. Neben Bettwäsche und ausreichend Handtüchern, haben wir uns besonders über die "Kleinigkeiten" gefreut. Seife, Spülmaschinen-Tabs, Spüli und Trockentücher, genug Toilettenpapier usw. usw. Sogar Duschgel und Shampoo war da (sogar Wasser, Kekse und Kaffee/Tee!) Gerade diese Dinge sind in anderen Häusern oft nur in homöopathischen Mengen oder gar nicht vorhanden. Aber auch bei der sonstigen Ausstattung fehlte nichts und hat uns gut gefallen. Das Haus wirkt gepflegt und liebevoll eingerichtet. Meine Mutter hat das Zimmer im Erdgeschoss genutzt. Da es von der Küche nur durch eine Schiebetür getrennt ist, war es hellhörig. Ohne Kinder, war das für uns kein Problem - für andere vielleicht schon. Im Erdgeschoss war auch das Badezimmer und (direkt daneben) eine Extra-Toilette mit erhöhter Toilette und Abstützhilfe. Das war für meine Mutter natürlich super. In der ersten Etage befindet sich leider keine Toilette. Dafür aber eine süße Spielecke und 3 nette Schlafzimmer mit guten Matratzen. Auch die Technik funktionierte, das W-Lan konnte im ganzen Haus genutzt werden. Die Umgebung ist ruhig und ländlich. Ohne Auto würde ich das Haus nicht unbedingt empfehlen. Der nächste Penny-Markt ist aber nicht weit. Wir kommen gerne noch mal in dieses Haus - und das sagen wir sonst nicht so schnell.
