About this property

Seclusion, heavenly peace and in total harmony with the unspoiled nature of the Dolomites. The Almhütte Tirler Schweige offers all this and more. The alpine hut is located a few kilometers from your host family’s farm in Kastelruth (Castelrotto). A special permit to reach the hut by car will be given to you by your host family Jaider. An enchanted forest path winds its way to the alpine hut and the feeling of being able to experience a very special vacation brings a smile to everyone's face. The holiday home consists of a living room, a well-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, 2 bedrooms as well as one bathroom and can therefore accommodate 5 people. Additional amenities include a television. The private outdoor area boasts an open terrace, and from the wide green alpine pasture you can enjoy beautiful views over the surrounding mountains and the Seiser Alm (Alpe di Siusi). The nearest supermarkets, bakeries and other local amenities are situated in the town of Kastelruth itself, which is located 10 minutes on foot (1km) from the property. In the town you will also find a lift that brings you up to the Marinzen Alm, which is a perfect location for hiking in the summer. Should you be visiting in winter, the nearest ski lift is in Seis am Schlern, which is less than 10 minutes (5km) away by car. The nearest airport is in Innsbruck, which is one hour and 45 minutes (110km) by car.

Wunderschönes Südtirol

Die Unterkunft war absolut perfekt. Die Ausstattung hat alles geboten was nötig war, es war sauber, solides Inventar (Kaffeemaschine, Wasserkocher, Staubsauger, usw.) und sehr gemütliches Flair. Draußen ist eine schön große Terasse mit Sitzmöglichkeiten mit einem wahnsinns Blick auf die Berge! Die Umgebung ist wunderschöne. Außerdem ist die Lage der Hütte ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen. Unbedingt wieder! Klare Empfehlung!
